Overpriced and overrated.I've been using baitcasting reels in tournaments for 40 years, so I have experience. Purchased this reel because of the rep of his rods (which are excellent). But the reels-not so much! Seem to be cheaply made and difficult to adjust. For this reason, I say they are below average and overpriced. Don't make the mistake I did. Stay with the proven brands: Shimano, Abu Garcia and even some Quantums. Want a good reel for half the price ? Try the H2O Express reels. Good quality at a fair price. The 'Mettle' is a really good real; also the 'Menace'. Even the low priced 'Maxim' is a good quality reel.
