Great Value, No better device for the mudI bought this for whenever I get stuck in the mud in the small tidal creeks in POC chasing reds and specks. It works better than a normal push pole for mud bottoms for sure! The duck foot attachment spreads out over the mud and allows you to push off instead of sinking all the way through the mud like a normal push pole would, giving you greater leverage in those areas with soft mud bottoms. It does sink some into the mud but you still have much more leverage than your normal push poll. This device has saved me from being stuck several times already. Worth every penny in my book.
