This is the one!I was looking for a anchor to hold my 21' boat just behind the breakers while I fish the surf. After experimenting with three other inadequate anchors. This is the one. Moved to several different fishing spots. Never moved once. Excellent. If you ever have tried to fish and had to keep resetting your anchor, you know what I mean by "Worth every penny".

saltwater dude from
Great anchorThe anchor that came with my used 19' CC boat just wouldn't hold. After reading review, purchased a digger anchor. Just got back from San Luis Pass, where there was a wicked outgoing tide, this baby held perfectly. Very pleased. Also love the way it releases and the fact it doesn't need an anchor chain.

Is it ok to use a 10 or 15 foot chain with this anchor if using in 60 to 75 foot of water or will this impact anchor performance?

Grabber cleats or "diggers" put constant downward pressure on flukes to set fast and keep digging down in rough and windy conditions.
