Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing Better! Had these boots now for going on a year and I absolutely love them! The Chippewa quality can't be beat! From the first time I slipped on, until now a year later, they have always felt broke in and their comfort hasn't faded. I am a lineman that climbs poles regularly and puts my boots through the gambit and they have always been cool in the summer, warm in the winter and never fatigue my feet while on climbing gaffs. No better boot on the market and priced much better than competitors. 5 stars and I will buy another pair IF this pair ever gives out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST Working Boots Hands Down! I bought these boots over two years ago and wear them almost every day. I am a welder and use these boots for working in and also for outdoors wear and hiking. I have weak ankles and my feet require a lot of arch support which I've found to be lacking in other brands of work boots but these definitely provide the support I need. A lot of other brands I've tried seem to be designed with aesthetics more in mind than durability; I need boots that work as hard as I do and these boots have definitely stood up to the challenge. They are waterproof (as long as you don't completely submerge them) and warm in the wintertime. They took me about 2-4 weeks to fully break in but once they do they'll feel as though they are molded to your feet. I had bought a different brand of all leather working boots that had felt completely broken in upon purchasing (which I had loved at the time) and had also cost about 1/3 of the price but provided no foot or ankle support and unfortunately fell apart in less than a year of everyday wear (as in the sole separated from the boot completely). These boots are definitely well worth the extra money and will last much longer than a cheaper pair if properly cared for (be sure to leather condition at least once a month). Also, for being steel-toed they are very comfortable. If you're not used to logging style boots they will feel heavy at first but you will adjust to them; I never once got a blister while breaking them in and forget the steel toe is even there. As of now they are still holding up as good as ever. I love my Chippewas and won't buy anything else. My only wish is that a pair of non-insulated steel-toed boots for women were available as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boots but my son was disappointed they did not come with the american flag attached to laces

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boots leak I bought my boots last year and went on maternity leave from September till May of this year. I didn't really use them much up until 2016. I live in New England and since it's winter we are walking on ice and in slush. These boots are awful! Everyday my feet are wet and freezing. I've hardly used them so they are still in good condition so it can't be blamed on poor care. I am completely dissatisfied. I will definitely be switching to a different company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable I will leave a separate review after 6 months-a year of use. This is in regards to initial impression having just bought the boots. Super warm. Super comfortable. Impressed with how thick the quick lace hooks are. Color out of the box is closer to red than photo. Closer to legit winter boots than I had imagined, which is good. One of the brush guards (the frill piece that laces in between the tongue and laces) was very dark brown while the other matched the boot perfectly. For that reason i'm not using them, though I would have preferred to use them. I can't justify docking a full star just for the brushguard color mismatch, so they still get 5/5 from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top shelf boots. I bought these boots about six years ago. They have out lasted any that I've owned, hands down. However for the price, and being an American made product I firmly believe that there should not have to be a reconditioning fee. I can understand that footwear doesn't necessarily fly off the shelf like sliced bread.
