Broken in the packageI didn't even get to shoot the gun this scope got mounted on before the crosshairs broke. When I mounted the scope, it was particularly difficult to keep the crosshairs level to my eye. I recounted the scope three times thinking I must have tightened the mounts in a way as to mess up my level crosshairs. Nope. You could lightly hit the scope with your hand and make them go from side to side. In the plus side, the glass is good for the price. The eye relief is excellent. The problem is, you can't make a scope most important part be broken from the start. If I were the only one with broken crosshairs, I would have tried another of the same model. However, multiple people have reported the crosshairs breaking early in use.

Bad CrosshairsI put this on my TC Omega and I will say for the price it was very clear and had great eye relief, however after the 7th shot the cross hairs broke free and now just float and turn.

These are GREAT scopes!Say what you will about CenterPoint's scopes, but I have used them, and they are great optics. I have not used them on high-powered rifles (.223 / 5.56, .308, 30-06, Rem 700, etc.), but I can vouch for their use on .22LR and .22WMR rifles. The glass is clear, and they hold zero very well. I highly recommend using them if you are on a budget and you want a good optic.

Joe Montana from
HorribleAll the reviews says it's a great scope...not mine. I mounted it on my 7.62x39 ar 15. Got it sighted in and all was fine. After about the 25th or 26th shot, the cross hairs canted 45° to the left! The scope was still mounted straight.

Great scope but multi color retticle lacks someGreat scope for an AR even though it is marketed for slug gun and muzzleoader. If you use it on an AR you will want different mounts unless you put it on a carry handle. The mounts included are very low and don't work well with the AR platform.

The Crosman CenterPoint TAG 2 - 7 x 32 Riflescope is intended for rifles and will work for most 22LR dove tails.
