Best knife for the price!Bought this online a while back. It had a decent edge, but you can sharpen it more. Holds an edge great, I carved wood several time and had only sharpened it once. Would recommend to new knife users!

Great knifeBought this as my son's first knife, typical Buck quality and sharpness. Prefer the locking setup on this over other types.

Buck knife killer from
Broken BuckI had this knife for 2 weeks. I was impressed with the way the knife took an edge and the way it clipped to the pocket. However I went to cut a tight rope and the spring came out of the knife that holds the blade locked. I have tried numerous times to e-mail buck about the warranty and can not get a reply. This knife is weak.

Love this knife!I owned the smaller version of this knife and I loved it. I lost the first version so I went back to Academy to buy another one. The price is great and when I saw that the larger version was only $2 more, I jumped on it! Also found that it has a pocket clip that the smaller one does not have. This knife is a great value and a solid product. Buck does it again!

Great knife for the priceI bought this knife over a year ago as a work knife to use in my plumbing job. The blade holds a decent edge and when opened the blade still feels solid after a year of daily use. The clip holds solid and has not loosened up over time. For the price and it being an American made product I don't think you can beat it for the price, yes there are definitely better knives but this is a good value.

Low qualityI bought this, opened the packaging in the parking lot and took it out, and was immediately turned off by it. It felt cheap, the handle flexes, the blade was very difficult to open with one hand. I returned it on the spot. I was seduced by the "Buck" name and thought it would be a quality knife, but no, that is not the case.
