Don't Expect Rimfire Performance From An Air RifleI have fired about 1000 rounds thru my Benjamin Steel Eagle .22 Caliber Air Rifle in the past month or so at 10, 15 and 30 yards (not Meters) off a solid rest. I could never get better than 2 - 3 inch grouping. I was shooting into a slight wind and at times about a 15 degree wind from the left. These winds didn't seem to effect the shot at these distances. However the placement of each shot was very random and never a consistent tight group. They were pretty much all over the place within a 2 -3 inch circle. I have a .177 cal pump - up and a .177 cal single pump that shoots tighter groups at even farther distances that came with a price tag under $100. This rifle is a hard hitter and will definitely kill small game if you can get em close and get a good hit. If you are into precision shooting as in match shooting I would not recommend this rifle even for a beginner. You will be disappointed in that effort. The CenterPoint scope that came on it is Ok for an air rifle at close distances but I would never put it on anything else, not even a .22 rim fire. The only reason I bought it was to have a quiet and hard hitting air rifle for small game which this is, but I will be playing with different rounds to try and find something a little more accurate and already ordered a better scope. If the racket of a .22 rim fire is not an issue then buy a .22 rim fire rifle and be done with it.

Backyard FriendlyI bought mine and I cleaned the barrel before started using the air rifle. It took me around 300 pellets to break it down. The great thing is that I can use it on my backyard for practice. The best 5 shoot group of pellets during my shooting tests are: 1) H&N Terminator Hollow point 16.36 grains, Bullseye at 20yds. 2) JSB 15.86 grains Match Exact Jumbo Diablo at 30yds hitting the Bullseye. This air rifle has a Velocity1100 FPS fps for that speed it needs a heavier pellets to work at his best for long distance shots on target. It's a great air rifle for the money. Just keep the barrel clean after shooting.

So far a good accurate air rifleHere is my review the gun is new still breaking in but I am shooting good groups. The scope is ok may upgrade later make sure you get it mounted correctly and loctite the screws and zero the gun in. The manual says about 250 pellets to break in but I shot around 40 to 50 rounds so far and I think it is pretty accurate especially for a .22 caliber. It hits hard and I have no problem hitting target at 90 yards yep that good. It says on box good up to 60 yards on small game and predators so this is my review of the gun so far. Go try on out. Not sure about the other guys review my barrel looks well built. But I have heard a few had problems with end of barrel cap so far so good on mine

Poor craftsmanshipI bought one and it was defective out of the box. The cheap sheetmetal tube used to make the barrel look massive or like a heavy barrel was wedged over the end cap at the muzzle. I returned it and bought another and the same issue was present. The tube shears off the plastic end cap around the edges and it bulges over the cap looking like shoddy toy instead of an adult pellet gun.
