Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible design No come or needle were attached. Plus a needle doesn't fit into pump and there are no instructions on how to get a needle into the hose to pump up a basketball. This product design was terrible.

How does the pump fit onto the tire valve stem? I assume it's the red "cone" looking thing, but it doesn't fit tightly enough to pump air into it. As asked (but not answered) above, how does the Bell Air Attack 350 work?

How do you attach the needle to pump a basketball up?

Asked by: GalenLB
Hello GalenLB, The Bell Air Attack 350 Floor Pump includes a ball needle and an inflation cone. Insert base of needle (part that looks like tire valve stem) into same hole on pump that you place over tire valve stem when inflating tire and clamp onto needle. Insert the needle into the ball and pump.

Can you actually explain how this works for a presta valve? The instructions say this are components inside that need to be reversed.  There is one component inside that I can't figure out how to reverse.

I bought this pump and cannot figure out how to use the needle attachment. I also cannot find any online instructions for Bell Air Attack 350 pump.

Make sure the thumb lever clamp is up.  To place the base of the ball needle into the hole, you need to make sure you have the hole for the pre set schrader valve.  There are basically three removable pieces with the valve (the outermost oval-ish shaped piece that screws on, an interior rubber piece and an innermost piece that fits into the rubber piece.)  (Screw off the end of the valve that is oval shaped and look at the removable rubber piece inside. You need the end of the rubber piece with the larger hole. For the larger hole to be outward, you may also have to reverse the innermost piece that inserts into the rubber piece). The larger hole for the rubber piece should face outward.  Once you have the larger hole of the rubber piece outward, screw on the oval shaped outermost piece.  Place the ball needle into the hole then press down on the thumb lever clamp to hold the needle in place.  Hard to describe without photos but hope this helps.
