I've coached Fastpitch for 10 years and had my girls use a multitude of bats. I came across an Easton bat at a local sporting goods store about seven years ago and found one of your earlier products on sale and from then on the girls were in love with your bats! Every years since that has been our bat of choice. The Mako continues the long line of great bats and we have never been disappointed and to this day the younger girls still swing the very first bat I found on sale! Thanks Easton!
In 2 years I've bought 6 Makos for my grandaughter. Had to raise the size as she grew. She began hitting better as soon as she got the first one in the fall of 2014. I do have a question about the finish on the bats. It seems the 2015 model stays fairly clean but the 2016 model gets dirty fast and stays dirty, noticed that even watching college games.
I've been using this bat for the past month. Mine is 30 inch/ 22 oz bat. It is crazy because the bat feels lighter than it should be! Easton has worked hard so that the end loaded bats (such as this one) is very slight that it is almost unnoticeable. So I went to use a 31 inch 21 oz -10 little league xl1 and it actually felt heavier than the 30 inch 22 oz bat. The moi is right where it should be. Great pop, unbelievably forgiving sweet spot, and it's from Easton. What else can you ask for? Great bat.
A lot hitting is simply mental and has nothing to do with the bat. We made a switch to a heavier bat because my kid has quick hands. He doesn't hit HR's but lead his team in every other statistic including slugging. Highly recommended for contact hitters who are typically your purest hitters; not just power hitters. We have had great results with all Easton bats in regards to durability. This is a game bat; he doesn't use it in the cage.
I love this bag it has a lot of compartments and the main one is big enough to hold to big gloves helmet hats and a little more it has a small pocket on top we're my son keeps his gloves and sunglasses two bat holders and a bottle holder and two more nice size pockets great buy for the money I am very happy with it
It's exactly what I wanted. My son has a blue one and loves it.
I bought these cleats for my son who is a high school receiver and when we went to the store to try these on he said they were great. The size was great, the fact that they were so light was what sold him on the decision to get them.
My order came right on schedule... Plus the price was good !!
I bought the lizard skin to see how it would work on my tennis racquet. I really like it. Great grip and lasts longer than regular tennis handle wraps. Have ordered more for my other racquets.
Easy to apply! Great grip! Have used on 2 bats and will continue to use!
I bought this bat for my 13 yr old. When I told her I got her a new bat she said she was happy with her old bat and didn't need a new bat. Told her to just try it out. She is usually one that likes to take a lot of time to break a bat in, but after using it for one batting lesson, she hasn't gone back to her old bat. Even used it a a state tournament the week she got the bat and had some awesome hits.
Needed to upgrade from a metal bat to a composite. Did some research and chose this one based primarily on price though the bat is a pretty one... A lot of these composites are $250-$350.
Great product low prices so glad I found their place
Order came in quickly and pieces were fairly priced and good quality for middle school students.
This bat is easy to swing and has a balanced feel. Would recommend to anyone.
Felt good out of the wrapper, took about 30 swings in BP then hit 2 home runs 320+ ft the first game. Temp was 65-70 night game game with brand new balls so I'll see how it hits softer balls in hotter weather. Only negative for me is Easton's weighting. I got a 26oz because the 27oz with 2oz end load felt a little like a club. Would love this bat in a 27oz with a 1oz end load.
First time out I hit 2 homers.I love this bat it feels perfect .I am going to buy a second just in case they stop making it next year.I love the end load and grip feel of this 28oz easton.it makes me a better hitter
I bought these a few months back, and I'm so glad that i did because they seem like they custom fit to your hand and they are very soft.
My brother and I had the original STX FiddleSTX probably 25 years ago. We just bought the updated version for our kids. Wow! It's nice to see a product improve so nicely over time without a huge increase in price. These are basically a scaled down version of the real thing - with exception to the shaft. These are plastic shafts. Should be fine for our kids, but if you want a beefier shaft, you can find mini sticks from STX, Warrior and Brine that come with aluminum shafts for around $20 each.
I purchased this set to teach my 5-year old grandson how to throw and catch a lacrosse ball. I already have an old STX lacrosse stick from when I played on a club in college, so I use it and my son and grandson use the sticks that came with the set. I was impressed by the quality of the sticks - they look like the full-size real things and work great for learning the basics of playing catch. The only problem I have is that I wish the handles were metal and not plastic, as they seem a bit cheap. ... But I will have to see how they hold up under play. They may be fine. But I really like the heads! Really nice! I almost bought a cheaper set made by Franklin, but I am glad that I decided to spend a few extra $ and get the STX set.
We bought this bat for my 10 year old last year and it was the best purchase made to date. It has helped her improve her swing and reaching a better batting average. As an 11 year old she won't even consider any other bat.
This is an awesome bat! The torq handle is great and has really improved my swing!
I don't like large or cushiony grips for my tennis racket, so this is exactly what I was looking for
this bat is not intended for a 12-13 yr old. they should move to a drop 8 drop 5. these bats are not intended to handle the speeds of bigger stronger kids. my 11yr old dented 3 moved to a drop 5 same bat no issue. my 10u has had one for 2 years. as pitchers get faster and batter swings harder it is time to move up in weight and density.
The only con it's that it gets dent relatively easy
Bought it the starting of baseball season. Glad I did my grandson loves it and it's improved his hitting
We play in a racquetball league that meets at outdoor courts after work so we tend to play more at night under lights. This best ball we have found for this situation both for high visibility and durability on the concrete walls.
Bought this product on opening day, love them, these have good quality and bounces well.
This is a good product for the price and came it fast
i need a mouth piece bad thank you so much i play for the vipers
