Tactical Scopes from Academy

Calculated and strategic shooters don't want to be without their durable, reliable and long-lasting tactical scope while on the hunt. Buy your tactical optics at Academy Sports + Outdoors to find the perfect optics to pinpoint your target at any distance, during any time of day. We offer a wide variety of tactical optics to take along on your next hunting adventure to help ensure you bring your trophy home, including red dot optics, fiber-optics and holographic optics. Our selection includes trusted name brands like Nikon and Vortex so you can be sure that your shot counts, every time.

Types of Tactical Optics

At Academy, we feature a large assortment of tactical optics to fit your hunting needs, no matter your firearm of choice. Our selection includes:

  • Red Dot Sight: mount red dot optics on your handgun or shotgun, or choose a red dot rifle scope to fit securely onto your rifle. Red dot sights offer accuracy and quick target acquisition, since the technology lines up parallel with your shot to project a red dot directly on your target. Some red dot sight options include multiple reticle illumination settings to adjust brightness for even the toughest hunting challenges.

  • Fiber-optic Front Sight: our fiber-optic attachments will fit securely and easily onto your firearm. They gather available light and project a bright aiming point under all kinds of lighting conditions.

  • Holographic Weapon Sight: a holographic optic lets you shoot with both eyes open. Holographic technologies create a reticle image of a target, which is superimposed at a distance on the field. No light or red dots are projected forward, so targets can't see the dot, and your position won't be compromised.
