Great for low recoil like .204R, .22-.250, .243 and such because short eye relief. Would recommend extension rings or bases for mounting on long action rifles and mounting this scope on a long action Ruger M77 would involve 30mm extension front ring. Like the optics - bright clear at max power with sharp defined edges of field. Adjustments are easy to make without tools - don't need Allen wrenches for tiny Allen screws. Just pull out turn and push back. I have them set for 70 grain Berger VLD ... .22-.250 and 87 Hornady VMax zeroed at 200 and 2nd bar down hits at 300 for both. I can look through these scopes for hours without problems.
I own two of these scopes, both on longer range hunting rifles and love them both, the glass quality is clear for a great price. The turrets have nice positive clicks and after a year and a half they still track properly, one of the scopes did have a faulty o-ring which allowed moisture into the scope, but thanks to Vortex and their great warranty I was taken care of hassle free and quickly!
I have this scope mounted on a Remington 700 300 win mag. This rifle is used for whitetail deer, mule deer and hog hunting. The scope is very clear and has great eye relief while still being simple enough for an average hunter to use in the field and on the range. The quality in the vortex product lines is never questioned and their customer service is second to none. This was my first vortex optic and since I have upgraded all my rifle scopes to Vortex along with my binoculars. I have also been ... able to convert two of my hunting buddies to Vortex and they are pleased with their optics as well.
Have always used and realy liked Leupold scopes, bought this to put on my 7mm STW and couldn't be more impressed with the clarity and appearance of this scope. Used it during deer season and early coyote season then put the rifle up and got my 223 out with a Leupold on it to finish the season, couldn't believe the difference in clarity and quality between the 2, vortex is by far a better scope in my opinion and I will definitely continue to purchase Vortex optics.
I have this Vortex Crossfire scope mounted on a DPMS LR308, shooting out to 800 meters without issues also shooting. Crystal clear glass, excellent reticle for long range shooting. Easy to use elevation and windage dials, to reset zero after different ranged shots with ease. I had no issues with scope top of the line straight shooter with range.
This scope far exceeds the price on it. Clear lenses positive clicks on turrret adjustments and holds zero on my 7mm magnum. I can't say enough about customer service. I felt like they wanted to help me and explain my questions. Call leupold you'll find an obvious difference. Leupold will never see another dollar from me Thank you vortex!
I have had my new magazines for a couple of weeks now. They have worked flawlessly when loading ammo into the magazine, loading the magazine into the weapon or removing the magazine from the weapon. Feeds every round without failure. The window feature is awesome.
This magazine was exactly as described. Fast shipment and processing.
I was looking for a compact, travel size and found that Steiner has this model. The weight and over-all size are great! Travel size. That mattered to me because I carry a lot of camera equipment. Look and feel are very nice. Even though these are compact they have a good feel, even in large hands. The double hinge design is very nice for adjusting to your face width. Focusing is easy enough and the optical quality seems really nice for the 22mm size!! In general, I am quite happy and ... looking forward to taking on a big trip.
I bought the 8X22 Champ to have a ready set of binoculars handy by the kitchen Windows in front of bluebird feeders. They are handy and quality of optics quite nice for such a small size and price. I am a fan of Steiners and own the 7X50 Police which are excellent and much brighter though considerably larger. The Champ fits my need. Recommended.
I AM USING THIS FOR PAPER PUNCHING AT MY LOCAL OUTDOOR RANGE ! PROS= VERY CLEAR OPTICS ONLY HAVE A 200 YRD MAX SHOT SO HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE THE BDC , YET
It works very well. It does what it's supposed to do. I bought it for my son and he loves it.
helps put my hand in the proper spot 100% of the time.
I bought this magazine for my new Marlin XT-22R and it functions perfectly. No fail to feeds, jams, or any other magazine related issues. You need this as the rifle only comes with one.
I bought this to have an extra magazine for my XT Marlin 22 rifle. Fits like the original that came with the gun. Shipping was fast.
This an awesome to go case. I really like the design with Plenty of Padding and the Strap and Barrel Pocket that holds the firearm secure in the case . Smooth nylon interior allows you firearm to slide into the case without snagging and ripping like a lot of other soft lined cases . Also has plenty of storage designed just right. This is the only case I will buy from now on...I have 2 so far planing on picking up at least 3 more . I do have a whole stack of other Brand cases cheap if any one is ... interested , Most have ripped linings in the barrel end. ..The Allen Battalion Will Last !
I bought this case for one of my rifles. I absolutely love it. It is well built with good storage options.
For the money this case cannot be beat. Has all the features of the more expensive cases, with the price anyone can afford. I'll definitely be buying more. Padding in the case is great for protection. Two extra zipper pockets for clips, bullets, etc.
I installed this scope on my HOWA 1500 in 223 Rem. customized rifle: 1) Consistent 1/4" accuracy at 100 yards for 3 shots; 2) The best group - 0.15" for 62 gr. TSX with 24 gr. of Reloader 15; 3) I can see the bullet holes of .224 clearly at 100 yards! 4) Very light scope - about 10 oz. The same scope in VX-2 line might be even better. The best scope for regular hunting conditions, and even better for a mountain rifle.
I bought one a few years ago and the elevation didn't work. I sent it back to the factory and it was returned and the elevation still didn't work. I have owned a VXIII 1.5 - 5 mounted on a Marlin 336 in .35 and currently own a VX-3, 2-8 mounted on a Remington 700 in .243. They performed flawlessly. I decided to give Leopold another chance. I recently bought another VX-1 and had it mounted on a Savage 99 in .300 savage. It is extremely accurate and I am pleased. I must have just got a ... lemon. I still have the scope that doesn't work and am contemplating sending it back.
Bought this for my AR 15 works great nothing fancy put it over your shoulder and go carries very comfortable and light
I've always preferred just a straight sling for greater flexibility. The 1 1/4" width helps distribute the load better than the standard 1" straps. These sling swivels are sturdy, easy to remove in re-install. I expect to get many years of use out of them. If you prefer a 1 1/4" sling...these are the swivels for you.
Great piece would recommend to anyone to purchase this
These Magpul magazines work much better than any of the steel mags out there. I wish Magpul would make them for 7.62 x 39 AR-15 platform .
Works as expected, 10 round magazine allowed me to use my DPMS 308 during deer season.
The store was out of them so I ordered online, no problem in doing it. Received them in just a few days, have used with no problems.
Fantastic price on OE S&W magazine!! Exactly as advertised.
FACTORY GLICK MAGS ARE THE WAY TO GO WHENEVER YOU CAN FIND THEM. GLOCK MAKES TOOLS THAT HAPPEN TO BE GUNS THAT OFFER RELIABILITY SO WHY WOULD THEIR MAGS BE ANY DIFFERENT. A 9 mm DOESN'T HAVE THE STOPPING POWER OF A 40 OR A 45 ACP BUT WITH THE ADVANCEMENTS IN AMMO TODAY PLUS THE 33 ROUND EXTENDED MAG THIS IS AN AMAZING PERSONAL DEFENSE OPTION. PLUS THERE ARE MULTIPLE COMPANIES NOW MANUFACTURING AR STYLE 9 mm CARBINES THE RUN WITH THESE 33 ROUND GLOCK MAGS.
Very impressed to be able to shoot this many rounds at once. Definitely will purchase another one soon
The sale price was great for this scope very clear even in low light
First off, what works in my handguns might not work in yours. I went to the range with a Glock 19 and a 43. I took various ammo with me, 6 different brands all the same 115 grain. I don't want to put down any ammo but out of the 6, this Aguila worked the best for me. I'm no expert but I made consistent 2 inch groups with this ammo where as some of the others I could not make a good 4 inch group. I used all top name ammo from Academy Sports ( Best Prices ). If you have a Glock, or any name ... handgun for that matter, give Aquila ( means Eagle ) a try.
Used 2 boxes on Saturday on my Sccy cpx-1, Not 1 misfire. Great ammo and even better price
