This is my first game camera. I have used a different brand at a friend's ranch and this one is a breeze to program the date and time in comparison. When I first tried testing it it was very slow to trigger. I found out its very important to format the sd card while it's in the camera. That fixed that problem. All seems good now. I will update after testing in the field. So far value vs price seems good.
Works great, takes good photos, and good battery life.
I bought this camera with some scepticism, I have a stealth cam Unit camera I bought a few years ago and the pictures are good but the battery life sucked. I purchased this one on closeout and this camera is great. The quick settings are simple and fast as far as setup, pictures are good, the sensor picks up at longer distances and flash is good at longer distances. Video quality and sound is also good. But the thing that is so much better with this camera is the battery life.
What an Amazing game cam. Picture quality is great and the quick set feature is awesome and easy to use. I am also impressed with the battery life. This is the best game cam I have used by far and I am hoping to add a few more very soon.
Camera takes good night and day pictures, not blurry at all. For the price it's a great camera. When setting up came it will count down from 30 sec to 0 sec and then go off, don't get mad and think it's not working right, cause when something triggers it it will take the picture.
Bought this camera and another brand in the same price range and liked the Stealth Cam the best. Fairly easy to set up, took excellent day time pictures but night time pictures not so good due to limited range and flash did not have much width.
I bought one year ago and takes great pictures night or day and is great for Home Security as well as would be for hunters, i like the low level flash and truely great photos it takes .Everyone shoud have one for front and rear of home ,great to have whe going on vacation or any trips ,it's not like used to be someone be in and out of house with your valueables before neighbors see or most don't want to get involved so couple of these might save you alot of your possessions and cath Thiefs ... also,I think they well worth money ,so I'm getting more for other areas.
The instructions hard to set up on all the dial positions. i got a few good pics. but most are of nothing. the delay must be too long. but can't seem to speed it up yet. its alot of trial and error. still testing it out. glad it had batterys and free shipping.
It works fine but there is no 12v external battery connector as stated. Also requires 8 AA not 6 as stated. The paste and copy was without fact checking.
Overall it's a great camera. Easy to set up. It doesn't take 10 mp pictures like I thought it did.
Let me first say that I never leave reviews but have decided to give my two cents as a review. I was skeptical to purchase the MV1 as it seems most people either give it 5 stars or 1 star. The MV1 has worked flawlessly for me and was a breeze to setup. I think most people have trouble if they do not update their firmware prior to trying to setup the camera and modem. For me I followed the directions for firmware update and had the camera sending me pictures within 30 minutes.
I have had this unit, coupled with a M888i in the woods for a little over a month. I put it in a spot with spotty cellular signal and it has performed flawlessly. I love the fact that I don't have to put my scent in the woods to view the camera. I have a good 6 year old buck somewhat patterned and, when the time/wind is right, I will be in that spot hoping for a shot. I will be purchasing at least two more within 6 months. My only complaint is the app. I sometimes don't get notifications ... even though the pictures have been uploaded to the server. I wish they would simply text directly to your phone instead of having to go to the app to see pics. The positives far outweigh the negatives in my limited experience.
Getting some great pictures from this camera! Day or night, doesn't matter. They're crystal clear and the date and time stamp are a great help to figure out the schedule of the herd.
This viewer will read any card for a game camera and it is very easy to use .. I love it you can take it anywhere with u and it's not big or bulky so u can definitely stick it in your hunting bag for safe keep ..
I bought this trail camera viewer so I can see what's on the trail I am hunting (buck size) on the spot. It's exactly what I needed ,worth the money,I would recommend it to all hunters
The video quality is amazing on these glasses. An excellent buy for the price.
BOUGHT THESE MOUNTS A FEW WEEKS AGO AND THEY HAVE BEEN IN USE SINCE THEN. THEY ARE SIMPLE TO INSTALL AND ARE DESIGNED TO GIVE ANY CAMERA ANGLE. VERY DURABLE AND CAN BE EASILY MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION.
We have bought several packs of these. We use at our lease. They work great for us.
I've had the camera for a little over a month, everything works fine for me (not sure about the technical issues Quercus was talking about). I don't share my videos but I didn't have any trouble viewing them on my picture viewer, my laptop or my work computer. Day time videos are very colorful. I've only taken a few pictures but they also seemed to be very clear. I'll put it this way, I liked it enough that I bought a send one last week.
G45NG was purchased in November 2016 at Academy. Camera took some of the best day and night pics I've ever got from a trail camera. One night in late November the camera got a heavy rain on it. I thought nothing about it because it's made for outdoor use. I pulled it down to move to a new location a couple days later and noticed condensation inside the glass covering the LED emitters. The camera remained in my truck seat for a couple more days before I decided to put it on newly found deer ... trail. I placed the camera on a tree, set it to the Q3 video clip setting, it showed 86% battery life, closed the cover and left. Two days later I returned and realized the camera was dead and there were no files on the SD card. The camera would not turn on and there was still moisture inside the glass covering over the LEDs. The batteries were completely dead.....I assume from a short due to the moisture inside the camera housing. I returned the camera to Academy (with receipt) and they gladly would have exchanged but the same model camera was out of stock. They ordered me another in exchange and are mailing it to my residence. Time will tell if there is a continuing problem with rain water getting inside the camera housing. I'll split my rating down the middle with 3 stars until late I'm sure this camera is as good as the two G42NGs I have.
I bought my Cuddeback C2 Trail Camera a month ago. The pictures are sharp and clear. And that is on the 5M setting. I haven't even used the 20 Megapixel setting yet. Of about 75 pics taken during a 2-week period, only about 4 had no animal in the frame, but those were of deer moving out of the frame after already being captured 2 or 3 times. The trigger speed is exactly what I was looking for. The delay, burst and other features of this camera make it even better. It makes my cheaper camera almost worthless.
Awesome long range. Great camera I set up three of mine together of different brands and I got three times the amount of pictures on the Cuddy back. It is well worth the money to spend a little extra
I bought this camera last month & I'm already getting great pics. I bought my first Cuddeback 6 years ago and I was so pleased I upgraded to the Silver Series. The quick trigger speed & long batter life are great.
Once you get your settings dialed in you're good to go.Easy setup and takes great pictures day and night. You will never go wrong with a cuddeback!
I bought it a month ago and I'm still very impressed.
I own Cuddeback and Stealth cameras. Decided to give this one a try and it performs better than my more expensive cameras. I don't get blank pictures with nothing on them with this camera like I do with my others. Clear crisp images. Will be buying more of these to put out! Had heard bad things about WI cameras in the past. I will be buying nothing else from now on!
Got this for a steal when it was on sale, and so far I am extremely pleased with it. It seems to take as good, if not better pictures, than my Wildview camera that costs twice as much! Would definitely recommend, as I haven't had a single issue so far...and on top of that, the battery life has been great!
Only reason for a 4 star is because of its narrow picture view...not a wide enough picture angle. Focuses on just a small area. Husband LOVES it otherwise!
it worked from day one. only objection, the field of the picture is not very wide. Otherwise no problem.
Got it almost the next day. It works great. -------
Bought online, came open and used. Had pictures of previous owner on them. Still works and not worth the hassle to return just to get the same thing.
Works great , why pay more when it does the job of the higher priced cards.
