Found product ratings accurate. If they say used its been used like new is just that. In other words what Callaway tells about the club is what you get at a great price. Purchased four hybrids to date On to the wedges!

    Outstanding clubs
Never been a hybrid fan, but these X2 Hots are superb. As long as you sort of hit down on them like a short iron (vs sweeping them like the wood they look sort of like) they really go. I use the 3h/4h/5h. Although I like my 5i, I find the 5h is so much more reliable, especially from a variety of lies. Could not recommend these any higher. Only con I could say is that they scratch up easy, so paying extra for brand new or like new does not really pay off; after a round or two they'll look average or so anyway.

    Look at the roll
Recently put this driver in my bag with a new shaft. My ball flight has always been very high and I've never gotten any roll (< 1 ft. usually) so I wanted to switch up to the new Tech. SLDR's lower CG has lowered my ball flight, reduced my spin rate, increased carry and roll distance for me. Very shapeable as well. My old driver was 9.5 degrees, I play this SLDR at 10.5 and it plays lower than my 9.5. All in all this adds 10-15 yards to my tee shots on an average shot.

    Amazing distance and accuracy
Hit this club on a launch monitor and compared several company's latest offers. This was by far the straightest and longest of them all. Flying most of the other drives and right down the middle. 10 years newer than my old driver so not surprisingly gained about 35 yards of distance. First 9 holes I drove a par 4 and was almost hitting through fairways from the tips! Next step is to try and work it either direction but extremely satisfied thus far.

Like the feel of the Speedblade Irons
Just recently purchased the Speedblade irons. I custom built these irons through Taylormade. I was a bit leary on the look as I'm used to a blade profile, but I can say I was quite pleased. The long irons jumped off the club face. I can definately hit them longer. Jury is still out on the short irons, but just need to get used to them. It's very important to get the right shaft installed. I used the DG XP stiff and it provides a great feel. Great buy.

    Great Sticks!
I got these as an upgrade from the 2009 Burners. These irons are flat out awesome! I've always hit the ball far, I hit these even farther. With the burners a typical 8 iron was 170-175, these are a good 5-7 yards further on every iron. They're also very forgiving, I can shape shots slightly with these but I can't get a big 15 yard draw or fade out of them because of the forgiveness. A pure strike with these has an amazing sound and feels as smooth as silk. I absolutely love these irons, there ... read more are too many good things to list about them.

    Feel like everyone one!
I bought this set last week and I am extremely happy with the purchase. I felt like I found a great bargain and the academy got there share; everyone is happy. I have never understood why golf clubs get to such extremely high prices. If you pay anything more expensive than this is set, it is because of consumer marketing and your ego. I could own a two thousand dollar set and any semi/pro player could still kick my but with this basic one. Your paying for a golf set, not a name.

    Great for the price!
This a great set of clubs for the cost. $100 delivered, arrived on time. If you need an inexpensive set (beginner, just knocking the ball around, whatever...), this is the one.

    Great clubs, smooth play
I bought these clubs about a month ago, and I do no regret this purchase. The cavity backed irons are great, they have all the weight in the bottom of the iron so it's really good for getting under the ball and getting that perfect loft to get to the greens with. Also a great looking set of clubs overall.

    The club I needed
I'm not that great a golfer so I find shots 20-30 yards a no man's land..I can take a full swing and the ball will have great flight and land where I wanted it to..especially handy for a short chip when having to fly a bunker..I love this club and you can't beat it for the price

    Just What I Wanted!
Have had it couple weeks, out on the course one time. Big plus I like--17 pockets. It's looks get complements from other guys. From comparison of other bags, brands & styles, I think the price is a good deal.

    Really Comfortable
Had not planned to buy this belt, but when I saw it on the Academy site I decided to try it and would probably return it. I've never had a belt like this before. It is more flexible than my better leather belts and more comfortable than most other belts that I've worn. I only wish that they made it in other colors because I'd wear it all the time when appropriate, not just for golf.

    Great belt
This belt works perfectly. I will no longer wear a leather golf belt.

Price 10 Stars. Quality 3 Stars. Still great for the price. What do you expect for $7? Beats paying twice price online.

    Great club for the cost
I bought this for my father in law a few months ago and am quite happy with the club. It's a good club for the price for casual golfers.

D100 are 17-4 stainless steel, not zinc!
Academy is doing Wilson a disservice stating these are zinc clubheads. They are expensive trampoline 17-4 stainless steel, which is hard to bend. I have 3 sets (graphite and steel shafts) and have adjusted the lie/lofts on a Mitchell golf club bending machine, and it is tough work. The spring steel fights back (431 stainless steel can be bent 4 degrees; it is hard to move 17-4 even one degree). These are superb clubs. They were designed to help the high handicapper, but also to function for the ... read more better players. My club pro even uses them, and he can play with any brand or model he desires. Mid-sized head, moderately wide soles, great Lamkin grips (maybe 1/64th inch oversized, which I like). Stronger lofts, longer shafts - a real distance club that is easy to hit. Medium trajectory. Good Texas iron set because of the Texas winds.

Golf Balls and Clubs

In order to excel in the game of golf, you need to start with the right golf equipment and golf supplies. Achieve explosive, impressive distance with drivers, and make sure you sink the ball into the hole on the first try with putters. Wedges are used to strike a ball, making it fly high into the air before landing on the putting green, which is ideal when you need to navigate over pesky hazards, bunkers and tall grass. Keep plenty of golf balls on hand, so you don't have to go scouring the green to retrieve missing balls.
