More than expected I was happy till I filled this out
I have read A LOT of reviews about club heads breaking off. I have used my new set of stratas for a month now and have not had a problem woth breaking clubs. I am 6'4" 245lbs and accidentally hit the ground before the ball with the driver ever now and then and it is still in great condition. If this is a first set of new clubs this is what you are looking for. All i needed to do was langthen the shafts 1 1/4" and i was good to go.
I bought this club a month ago and have played 2 rounds of golf with it and have taken it to the range several times. I bought the stif flex 3 hybrid. I am 6 foot tall about 250 pounds and have a very fast swing. The stiff flex is great for my swing and the ball literally jumps off the club. I use this off the tee on a par 3 with a shorter swing and love the ball flight and the forgiveness of the club. I am able to use this club as my second shot on par 4's (I have the RBZ Driver and RBZ 3 wood ... as well) and can normally find the green in 2. I have nothing but praise for this club and for the price you cannot beat it.
This hybrid feels great and goes far. It looks great and is easy to use. I love this hybrid and will use it for a while.
I bought these clubs about 3 months ago and find them to be ideal for a new golfer. Comes with just about everything you need (I did buy a used sand wedge to round out the set). I definitely recommend this as a starter set for anyone looking to start golfing. Great price and has 1 or 2 more clubs than a lot of other sets.
I bought these clubs about a month ago it's cheap enough for a 14 year old to pay for. It's a great set I couldn't ask for a better set of clubs to start of with.
Been looking at lob wedges but couldn't decide if I really needed one or not. Saw this at the store for $25 and figured I couldn't lose. First time using it was in a scramble. Everyone I was playing with was asking me what kind of club it was. Nailed all my approach shots, couldn't believe how well it played. High lofts that bit the green and stayed near the pin. Great buy, out performs clubs 4x the cost.
Easy to skull with this club. Need to practice a lot. I think it will be a big asset once I practice with it.
I bought the Havenwood, this club is the answer for those players like me that can't hit a 3 wood consistently.
Very happy with this fairway wood. Easy to hit. Cuts well through rough and hot off the face from the fairway. Forgiving and long. Would definitely recommend.
I got this driver as a gift from my brother for Christmas and I absolutely love it(when I hit it well of course) Its light weight and looks great as well.
I tested this driver and feels light and hit good distance. Taylor Made use the best technology for Golf.
Cheap putters often feel cheap. The Wilson Harmonized M5 is an exception. It's got good balance and good alignment graphics. I would recommend a mallet putter for any skill level. If you want to try a mallet but don't want to take the plunge on an expensive one just yet, give this one a try. It will demonstrate the differences from a blade style quite well - a more back and forth swing, enhanced alignment features, and a bigger sweet spot on the face.
I bought this putter a month ago and am very pleased with the purchase!!!! I have used expensive putters in the past and this one exceeded my expectations. Perfectly balanced!!!
I bought this needing to add a 3 hybrid to my bag. It performs pretty well. The only downside is that it dings and scratches very easily. It's to be expected from a $30 hybrid though.
Purchased all three lofts. Clubs played solid out of the fairway, rough and green side. Nice feel, good ball control and great spin. Well worth the price. Well done Dunlop Sport.
Just like the putter my dad used years ago,I didn't think I would find that wasn't being sold on ebay and had sentimental value to it
Love this putter, I'm left handed so it isn't easy find a great selection in clubs and the price is really great. The head is just heavy enough so that you can get a smooth stroke on the ball.
Bought this wedge on sale, and was excited because it was a left handed club, and im left handed and its hard to find a left handed club that goes on sale. I love this wedge and will buy another one if anybody that know needs one
Ive played five rounds with the wilson killer whale and its an absolute beast. Surprisingly its out performed some more expensive drivers. Ball goes long and straight with a nice high trajectory. Sound at impact is really nice too! Way to go wilson! And a big shout out to academy as this awesome driver is not sold elsewhere.
I use the club to chip the ball high onto the green. Sometime when I swing it works good. Other times when I swing it works bad. Must be the club because I know I'm a good golfer. I have used it on the tee box. It went high but not far. It doesn't work to well for putting. Using it now to hold the hood of my car up.
I got this 6 weeks ago and it has already improved my short game
Bought this club because my old one was a cheapy off brand club) My best most versatile club in the bag. Better than my Vapor Pro. Wish the loft was lower but for the money, you can't beat it.
Academy is doing Wilson a disservice stating these are zinc clubheads. They are expensive trampoline 17-4 stainless steel, which is hard to bend. I have 3 sets (graphite and steel shafts) and have adjusted the lie/lofts on a Mitchell golf club bending machine, and it is tough work. The spring steel fights back (431 stainless steel can be bent 4 degrees; it is hard to move 17-4 even one degree). These are superb clubs. They were designed to help the high handicapper, but also to function for the ... better players. My club pro even uses them, and he can play with any brand or model he desires. Mid-sized head, moderately wide soles, great Lamkin grips (maybe 1/64th inch oversized, which I like). Stronger lofts, longer shafts - a real distance club that is easy to hit. Medium trajectory. Good Texas iron set because of the Texas winds.
I bought this putter a month ago to replace my old putter. I love the grip, slightly oversize and easy to hold and control. I like the head and the alignment marks. The putter seems to be weighted and balanced well but could use slightly more weight. I like the synthetic face insert, it gives a soft feel while putting. The only negative I have noticed is the black finish on the putter chips very easily...you definitely need to have a head cover on this putter in your bag.
Grip has a great feel and not to heavy. Really feels good in your hands which is huge for confidence
I bought this because I am getting into golf and didn't want to spend a ton of money on a putter. It is very accurate and helps you line up the put with a line down the middle to get the straight shot.
Bought this for a cheap putter after my old one was stolen with the intentions of buying a cleveland or nike later, but I've enjoyed this cheapo so much I've been using it for the last three years now...best buy for the price!
I started golfing about a year and half ago and these are the clubs I purchased. This is a great set for a beginner or not so good golfer that is not ready to invest in high end clubs yet. Bag is pretty good, but the lack of full dividers can get annoying when putting clubs back in the bag.
From beginners to professionals we have golf clubs for you. Becoming a good golfer is a mix of practice and having the right golf clubs. There are many different type of golf clubs you can use depending on the distance or area in which you are hitting from.
Golf drivers hit the ball farther than any other club. Drivers have the largest club head and the longest golf shaft resulting in a longer distance when struck by the club. Male golfers can reach distances of 300 yards or more, while women golfers can hit it over 230 yards or more.
Wedges are more of a mid-range club to help you get in on the green and get out of sand traps. Male golfers can typically hit a pitching wedge between 100-140 yards, while female golfers can typically hit their pitching wedge within a range of 70-120 yards.
Putters are used only on the green or just outside the green. Putters are used for to putt the ball with accuracy when it is near the hole.
