This is my first game camera. I have used a different brand at a friend's ranch and this one is a breeze to program the date and time in comparison. When I first tried testing it it was very slow to trigger. I found out its very important to format the sd card while it's in the camera. That fixed that problem. All seems good now. I will update after testing in the field. So far value vs price seems good.
I have bought several cameras from this brand and from Academy. They are inexpensive and work very well.
Options for different settings are good. Pics are very good. Easy to set up, works great.
I bought this camera with some scepticism, I have a stealth cam Unit camera I bought a few years ago and the pictures are good but the battery life sucked. I purchased this one on closeout and this camera is great. The quick settings are simple and fast as far as setup, pictures are good, the sensor picks up at longer distances and flash is good at longer distances. Video quality and sound is also good. But the thing that is so much better with this camera is the battery life.
Camera takes good night and day pictures, not blurry at all. For the price it's a great camera. When setting up came it will count down from 30 sec to 0 sec and then go off, don't get mad and think it's not working right, cause when something triggers it it will take the picture.
I have 15 camera's I run and purchased 6 of these, so far so good, excellent picture for the money.
I bought one year ago and takes great pictures night or day and is great for Home Security as well as would be for hunters, i like the low level flash and truely great photos it takes .Everyone shoud have one for front and rear of home ,great to have whe going on vacation or any trips ,it's not like used to be someone be in and out of house with your valueables before neighbors see or most don't want to get involved so couple of these might save you alot of your possessions and cath Thiefs ... also,I think they well worth money ,so I'm getting more for other areas.
The instructions hard to set up on all the dial positions. i got a few good pics. but most are of nothing. the delay must be too long. but can't seem to speed it up yet. its alot of trial and error. still testing it out. glad it had batterys and free shipping.
It works fine but there is no 12v external battery connector as stated. Also requires 8 AA not 6 as stated. The paste and copy was without fact checking.
Bought this game camera as a gift for my son. He was pleased.
I have had this unit, coupled with a M888i in the woods for a little over a month. I put it in a spot with spotty cellular signal and it has performed flawlessly. I love the fact that I don't have to put my scent in the woods to view the camera. I have a good 6 year old buck somewhat patterned and, when the time/wind is right, I will be in that spot hoping for a shot. I will be purchasing at least two more within 6 months. My only complaint is the app. I sometimes don't get notifications ... even though the pictures have been uploaded to the server. I wish they would simply text directly to your phone instead of having to go to the app to see pics. The positives far outweigh the negatives in my limited experience.
I bought this to try and catch hogs in action at night and it is working great. The immediate send feature is awesome. I was getting notification within a couple of minutes of the camera taking pictures. The pairing and set up took a little bit more time than I planned on but this is new technology so... The customer service folks were very nice and patient. They helped me work through the issues I was having. I am giving this 5 stars because I can be sitting at camp or asleep and get a ... notification that puts me in the right place at the right time to get hogs or deer. This product is well worth the time it takes to get set up.
Works great. I carry it in the woods with me to check my trail cameras. I can instantly save the pictures to my phone and then delete them from the sd card. Much easier than carrying a bulky game camera viewer.
I bought this card reader a month ago because I was tired of having to go home to my computer to read my SD cards. Now I can pull the cards and read them with my phone while I'm still in the woods then reset my trail cameras. Saves me about a hundred miles of driving now.
I bought my Cuddeback C2 Trail Camera a month ago. The pictures are sharp and clear. And that is on the 5M setting. I haven't even used the 20 Megapixel setting yet. Of about 75 pics taken during a 2-week period, only about 4 had no animal in the frame, but those were of deer moving out of the frame after already being captured 2 or 3 times. The trigger speed is exactly what I was looking for. The delay, burst and other features of this camera make it even better. It makes my cheaper camera almost worthless.
Awesome long range. Great camera I set up three of mine together of different brands and I got three times the amount of pictures on the Cuddy back. It is well worth the money to spend a little extra
Bought online, came open and used. Had pictures of previous owner on them. Still works and not worth the hassle to return just to get the same thing.
Works great , why pay more when it does the job of the higher priced cards.
Only reason for a 4 star is because of its narrow picture view...not a wide enough picture angle. Focuses on just a small area. Husband LOVES it otherwise!
We've purchased cameras like this before but this one is far better and at a cheaper price. The picture quality is great and the batteries last a long time. I like that it is infrared so there is no flash to frighten off wild life. Great camera at a great price!
I bought it a month ago and I'm still very impressed.
The video quality is amazing on these glasses. An excellent buy for the price.
it worked from day one. only objection, the field of the picture is not very wide. Otherwise no problem.
Got it almost the next day. It works great. -------
I bought this camera due to it being on sale. I wasn't expecting much from it but I'm very impressed with the image quality. For $50, you cant beat it. It was very user friendly and easy to set up. I will for sure be purchasing more.
Trying out a new area to hunt and wanted to see what type of traffic was in the area. So we decided to pickup a decent price camera and choose this one. We are liking the picture quality. Don't have any night photos due to the card was full because the camera took a lot of unnecessary photos when the grass blew in the wind.
Bought this when looking at a A5Gen2 and found this on sale for the same price and thought i would give it a try, we have three A5's out on the property already, added this one over our food plot we had just put out and i am now looking to sell my 2 A5 cams and get another of these the pictures are crystal clear and the the three shot burst is great to have and track just which way the deer are traveling.
I put this camera out in a spot that looked like there had been a lot of traffic. I threw out some corn for the first time and the camera (set on 3 frames per activation with 30 delay) took 540 shots the first night. Over 300 the second. Great pics.
BOUGHT THESE MOUNTS A FEW WEEKS AGO AND THEY HAVE BEEN IN USE SINCE THEN. THEY ARE SIMPLE TO INSTALL AND ARE DESIGNED TO GIVE ANY CAMERA ANGLE. VERY DURABLE AND CAN BE EASILY MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION.
We have bought several packs of these. We use at our lease. They work great for us.
I bought this trail camera about three months ago. I really love the easy program and detachable battery case. I have been enjoying the many pic's that all four cameras had taken.
the first camera i bought didnt work but i returned it to academy no problem . got the second camera and it seems ok .pic quality is good daytime and fair at night.Very little blur at night. Good strong flash at night. This camera will send a pic even on 1 signal bar. The signal varies at my location from 1 to 3 bars. This cam needs to closer to subject area than other brands it does not seem to have that zoom that other cams have built in .
