This is my first game camera. I have used a different brand at a friend's ranch and this one is a breeze to program the date and time in comparison. When I first tried testing it it was very slow to trigger. I found out its very important to format the sd card while it's in the camera. That fixed that problem. All seems good now. I will update after testing in the field. So far value vs price seems good.
I needed the camera to determine what small animals were eating my fruits and digging holes in my yard. The night vision worked well as it showed I have various small animals I am dealing with.
I bought this camera with some scepticism, I have a stealth cam Unit camera I bought a few years ago and the pictures are good but the battery life sucked. I purchased this one on closeout and this camera is great. The quick settings are simple and fast as far as setup, pictures are good, the sensor picks up at longer distances and flash is good at longer distances. Video quality and sound is also good. But the thing that is so much better with this camera is the battery life.
I wanted one that did not flash. The Stealth Cam G42NG is exceptionally easy to set up and use. Pics are incredible. Very impressed!
Camera takes good night and day pictures, not blurry at all. For the price it's a great camera. When setting up came it will count down from 30 sec to 0 sec and then go off, don't get mad and think it's not working right, cause when something triggers it it will take the picture.
I have 15 camera's I run and purchased 6 of these, so far so good, excellent picture for the money.
I bought one year ago and takes great pictures night or day and is great for Home Security as well as would be for hunters, i like the low level flash and truely great photos it takes .Everyone shoud have one for front and rear of home ,great to have whe going on vacation or any trips ,it's not like used to be someone be in and out of house with your valueables before neighbors see or most don't want to get involved so couple of these might save you alot of your possessions and cath Thiefs ... also,I think they well worth money ,so I'm getting more for other areas.
It was a very large hog. Done a lot of damage but was able to trap and dispose of it when we saw what was tearing things up.I guess the camera saved the neighbors dog.
It works fine but there is no 12v external battery connector as stated. Also requires 8 AA not 6 as stated. The paste and copy was without fact checking.
I bought this camera for $50, and at that it is a steal. The next closest black flash camera for the price is the Wildgame Innovations Cloak 6 LightsOut, which only has a 20 foot flash range. This camera is basically the same thing as the Stealth Cam PX36NG; except it has a blackout lens rather than black LEDs, is 10 megapixel rather than 8 megapixel, and is gray rather than camouflage. The flash range on this camera is really about 60 feet, which is the same as the detection range. The PX36NG ... has a flash range of 70 feet with a detection range of 60 feet. I set mine to have 2 pictures per trigger, and 30 seconds between triggers. That seems to work pretty well, as some of the pictures are blurry or out of focus. The trigger speed is about 1.77 seconds for pictures and 2.68 seconds for videos, so I would use the picture function. Point it down the trail so you don't get false triggers with the slower trigger speed, and remember it is a $50 camera that doesn't come with all the bells and whistles.
Let me first say that I never leave reviews but have decided to give my two cents as a review. I was skeptical to purchase the MV1 as it seems most people either give it 5 stars or 1 star. The MV1 has worked flawlessly for me and was a breeze to setup. I think most people have trouble if they do not update their firmware prior to trying to setup the camera and modem. For me I followed the directions for firmware update and had the camera sending me pictures within 30 minutes.
I have had this unit, coupled with a M888i in the woods for a little over a month. I put it in a spot with spotty cellular signal and it has performed flawlessly. I love the fact that I don't have to put my scent in the woods to view the camera. I have a good 6 year old buck somewhat patterned and, when the time/wind is right, I will be in that spot hoping for a shot. I will be purchasing at least two more within 6 months. My only complaint is the app. I sometimes don't get notifications ... even though the pictures have been uploaded to the server. I wish they would simply text directly to your phone instead of having to go to the app to see pics. The positives far outweigh the negatives in my limited experience.
Very good quality. It does add some peace of mind. But ultimately, it really just keeps the honest people honest. if someone REALLY wants something, they're going to take it.
I bought this lock to secure my camera to the tree and it has done a great job so far!
Bought online, came open and used. Had pictures of previous owner on them. Still works and not worth the hassle to return just to get the same thing.
Works great , why pay more when it does the job of the higher priced cards.
I own Cuddeback and Stealth cameras. Decided to give this one a try and it performs better than my more expensive cameras. I don't get blank pictures with nothing on them with this camera like I do with my others. Clear crisp images. Will be buying more of these to put out! Had heard bad things about WI cameras in the past. I will be buying nothing else from now on!
Getting some great pictures from this camera! Day or night, doesn't matter. They're crystal clear and the date and time stamp are a great help to figure out the schedule of the herd.
I bought this in August 2012 and another in 2013. The 2012 version just died in August 2016. The 2013 model is still working. 7 combined years of saving on batteries for my 2 Moultrie Panoramic Camera. It's important to note that you MUST have 7-8 hours of sunlight. Don't expect this to work in partial/limited sunlight. I had to replace the C batteries only once a year usually after the cold of winter not every 6 weeks. My solar panels ran 24/7. not just deer hunting season.
the best thing invented since the game camera its self!!! been going 2 years straight not 1 issue! I AM RATING THIS PRODUCT NOT ACADEMY ACADEMY IS THE WALMART OF SPORTING GOOD STORES
This viewer will read any card for a game camera and it is very easy to use .. I love it you can take it anywhere with u and it's not big or bulky so u can definitely stick it in your hunting bag for safe keep ..
I bought this trail camera viewer so I can see what's on the trail I am hunting (buck size) on the spot. It's exactly what I needed ,worth the money,I would recommend it to all hunters
I bought this camera last month & I'm already getting great pics. I bought my first Cuddeback 6 years ago and I was so pleased I upgraded to the Silver Series. The quick trigger speed & long batter life are great.
Once you get your settings dialed in you're good to go.Easy setup and takes great pictures day and night. You will never go wrong with a cuddeback!
I bought my Cuddeback C2 Trail Camera a month ago. The pictures are sharp and clear. And that is on the 5M setting. I haven't even used the 20 Megapixel setting yet. Of about 75 pics taken during a 2-week period, only about 4 had no animal in the frame, but those were of deer moving out of the frame after already being captured 2 or 3 times. The trigger speed is exactly what I was looking for. The delay, burst and other features of this camera make it even better. It makes my cheaper camera almost worthless.
This camera was recommended by one of my hunting buddies who has had several trail cameras including several Cuddebacks. The camera has worked very well for me and I've already received a software update which installed flawlessly. Hats off to Cuddeback on this product!

Great design! The bark like texture is awesome for concealment. Easy to use and amazing pictures!
The video quality is amazing on these glasses. An excellent buy for the price.
Working well in my game cam. Should last about 2 weeks with the amount of game and running at night only pics.
the first camera i bought didnt work but i returned it to academy no problem . got the second camera and it seems ok .pic quality is good daytime and fair at night.Very little blur at night. Good strong flash at night. This camera will send a pic even on 1 signal bar. The signal varies at my location from 1 to 3 bars. This cam needs to closer to subject area than other brands it does not seem to have that zoom that other cams have built in .
