I do not fish. I do make worry beads and have had a horrible time with the usual threads out there to do just that. I pearl knot the line between the beads. The threads break and split all the time. I know a lot of people who fish and they told me about fishing line. After trying a multiple amount of different lines I found the Fireline Crystal 30 lb and knew that I hit gold. The knots do not slip or break. The problem I cannot find it in Calgary, Alberta. It seemed to disappear completely. Then ... I found your site and I could breath a little better.
I've been using Fire Line for 3 years now jigging for big Walleyes and I have had better success with the brighter colors so you can watch when you have a bite. It is very strong and casts a long way and doesn't take up much room on your reel. My partner and I are lucky to get into the 30 inch club two years ago using fire lines and wouldn't use anything else on the Bay of Green Bay
This is the 2nd of these I have bought. A big fish jerked the other one off a pier and swam off with it. Great rod and reel for casting larger baits. Smooth reel and good action on the rod. My wife loves it
I got it as a gift and had 30 pound mono put on it and as of now it is my go to combo
This is my go to craw trailer I use when I throw jigs! Have great action in the water. I've caught some toads with this bait as a trailer.
Been fishing them since they came out and you can use them on a single hook, behind a jig, on a spinner bait or chatter bait, but the best thing to remember is to use them. They catch a lot of fish , but not in the bag. What a great bait with great action, with lots of smell, just don't put them in a coat pocket.
Excellent rod and reel combo for the money. Its one of the rods i always have in my SUV (along with my short dock fishing rod) because I can catch all the fish i fish for with this combo, Trout, Crappie, Bass and Catfish and I don't have to worry about it getting banged around. Its sensitive enough for small pan fish and strong enough for Bass and catfish. I've used live bait and artificial and always with braided line and florocarbon leaders that i change depending on what Im fishing for. I ... have an expensive 7ft 4 inch KVD Tour Spinning Rod and T40 Carbon Reel and the Mitchell is heavier but not by much so its very light and comfortable when casting all day. I liked it so much I bought a second one.
I have this combe for about a year now and I use it most of the time when I fish and it's very durable. I fish remote locations and my equipment takes a beating at times and this combo takes it and still works flawless. The reel is very smooth, easy to use and never tangles. been using reel for a couple years. fish very often no problems
Used it this evening works great very happy with it
Purchased these and they have worked flawlessly. The triggers are easier for kids to use. So far no hang ups or line catches in the real. I own four of these.
I bought this reel to take on my 1st Canadian Pike/Walleye fishing trip and I'm pleased that my Dad recommended it. This reel cast effortlessly and brought in my very 1st Pike. I was thrilled not to have to worry about my reel and only concentrate on landing the endless supply of monstrous fish. Thanks Pflueger!
Very lite. Feel everything jig bumps! Love the finger notch to feel line and slightest nibble yet strong backbone for landing!
I fish out of PA along the eastern seaboard, NC down into FL. The slow sinking maniac mullet absolutely slayed some reds on my recent trip to Jacksonville, FL. So glad I got some of these!!
great lure for saltwater speckled trout or red fish, I used it in the Galveston Texas area.
Great product to enhance the scent of all artificial lures. Smells awful, but the fish can't get enough. Here is a pic of my buddy catching a flounder after putting some on an artificial mullet.
I won't go to the coast without it. IT WORKS. !!!!!!!
bought these and ordered some more this i 1 of my go to baits for saclat
very competitive prices, and all the latest lures, fast shipping, user friendly web-site
Bought this to put on my Toyota truck bed rail system to hold my rods instead of laying them in the bed. This way I could carry 12 rods and reels and still have the bed of the truck for other cargo. I mounted 4 of them on to the bed rail system with stainless steal bots, nuts and washers without having to drill a single hole. Works great and looks cool
This lure is awesome. The bass love it and take it quite readily if they are feeding. The only drawback, is that you had better have several.....they tear up pretty easy. If you get into them like I did, you can go through them. I was lucky to get more than 1 fish with each one. Great lure though.
Ever since I started using these baits, I have ALWAYS caught fish! Either Largemouth Bass in Arizona or both Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass in Idaho. You can't go wrong having some of these rigged up, any style, to catch bass :-)
I bought this at the beginning of summer and have fished it hard. It casts very well and is noisy with a good slurp/gulp sound when the float dips under water. Also, the small beads make a clack when worked lightly. The paint has started coming off, but that doesn't affect the fish. I like this one more than the outcast as the leader attaches to the bottom, not the same eyelet as the line...makes for less tangles. It's tough to see at night, that's my only complaint.
Very noisy(GOOD), casts far, and catches fish. Enough said.
Bought a few weeks ago fast an easy works well good price
Always keep one of these rigged up on my fishing rod. There is no tougher lure on the market. I bought a couple of these last year in different colors and haven't had to replace them yet. Picked up every color after the success I had. Strongly recommend!
I used this bait on a high pressured lake was fishing a creek channel where water depths ranged from 15,12, and 8 feet this bait with the flat profile and no rattles is really what set this bait apart from all the baits that were used that day some that were similar but not quite the same shape and even matched bait fish colors and not one bite until I started fishing with this bait in the Tennessee shad color not sure if it was the color shape or vibration that it put off that made it better ... than those similar to it but this bait sent them into a frenzy.
Bought this in neon bluegill color and fished it postspawn. The bass couldn't stand it, one of the best days fishing ever!
I have 4 of the 7 oz Snapper Slappers in different colors. These things slay red snapper. I use Spanish minnows or load it down with squid (tend to catch larger ones with Spanish minnows). The smaller red snapper do not even mess with it. I have pulled in many large snappers with this set up. This is the real deal. All the snapper pictured were caught with snapper slappers (various colors)
Bought 3 weeks ago for red snapper. Catch bigger fish when attached with bait. Not quite working without bait though.
The eyes are great , look great under water an the Gold goes with most colors !
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Those who know what they are doing will have no issues. Excellent for Muddminnows, if you know where not to throw it.
