I bought this product about 6 years a go. I used it about 3 to 4 times a week. I have lost 45 pounds with my new nutrition plan and my stamina elliptical. I love this machine. I have bought a second one because my first one finally gave up on the left pedal. For me this product is great, it lasts a long time and I had great use to it. I love the new colors, a bought the orange one. I love my elliptical, I will always have it. Thank you for a great product.
Like many people I am often challenged with trying to find time to get to the gym. I'm up at 5:00 a.m. and seldom make it home before 9:00 p.m. running from work to my kids' sporting events. I was getting more frustrated with my legs, which are not ready for shorts season and decided to investigate alternative workout/toning options. I am so incredibly happy that I stumbled upon the Stamina InMotion Elliptical. Now while I'm at my desk typing I do so while "riding" my Elliptical. I've already ... seen some toning beginning to take shape on my thighs! Looking forward to seeing continued results.
I bought this online about a month ago. It shipped to my door in 3 days & it took about 2 hours for my husband to assemble. It is everything I hoped for. Although it requires quite a bit of space I was able to get rid of my stationary bike (since this is both a elliptical & a recumbent bike) so that freed up some room. I'm actually thinking of selling my treadmill too. I can get twice the workout in a shorter time on the hybrid! Great buy!
I've owned this Schwinn 430 for about 2-3 weeks now, after owning a cheaper elliptical that gave me so many problems. I have to say this machine is well worth the extra money, extremely similar quality to a machine you'd find at a gym and under $1000. The resistance is very good, I will use a middle level at the machine at gym, but only use the easiest level on this machine. Also, so far it is QUIET and smooth. Yay! It is very sturdy, fan works well...I have no complaints. You won't ... regret spending a few extra $ for this machine.
I assembled this product by myself with little difficulty in about 2 hours. I'm sure the time would be been cut in half if I had waited for help. 1. Once assembled and in use I realized there is a loud squeak coming from the right side. (There was not any extra grease as indicated in the instructions) I wear ear buds and listen to music while working out so the noise doesn't bother me. It is pretty annoying to everyone else though. 2. I did not get a user's manual. I'm sure I can get one ... easily by contacting customer service, though. 3.The fan blows off center and does not hit me directly. It blows to the left and hits my arm. Again, that isn't a big deal because I use a separate fan. Overall, this is great deal for the price and I would recommend this product to a friend.
I bought this elliptical machine after reading several posts and reviews. I am impressed with the quality, quietness and smooth motion it delivers. I have had it 3 months now and have lost 35 pounds. I would recommend this machine to anyone. I have also purchased the Xterra SB2.5 Recumbent Bike and it works very well too! Xterra makes quality products.
We were looking for a good exercise machine and saw this at Academy. It was a great price and reviews were good. Tried it out in the store and it seemed real solid and quiet... We bought it and loaded it up in our car and took it home. As soon as we got it out of the box we saw it was broken... Called the store and they told us to bring it back and they would replace it. Was expecting a fight but they could not have been nicer!!!! Replacement worked out perfectly and we love it so far....
This elliptical is easy to use and offers a great workout. My husband and I both use it daily. It has held up well the first month we've had it!
Ellipitical trainer is inexpensive compared to other trainers I reviewed.
It is a really good item. Couple of things took me off guard. The handles are a bit far out which makes you reach and lean forward a bit. The app really isn't what I thought it would be. Overall, I like it.
We received the unit very quickly and it wasn't too difficult to put together. Overall my wife and I do like it and it is serving its purpose. Some minor complaints... there were a few of the plastic cover pieces cracked upon opening. As these did not take away from the functionality and repacking / reshipping something so heavy would not have been easy, we accepted it. Also after some use, the screws start to loosen and cause the unit to squeak. I keep an allen wrench and WD40 close to try ... and limit the noise caused.
I have owned much, much more expensive elliptical machines, and I've been in love with ellipticals ever since using one to drop 50+ pounds, but I have never been so in love as I am with this one. The only down side is you can't adjust the difficulty (i.e., resistance), but the sleekness, quietness, functionality, and workout this machine provides more than makes up for that. It's a beautiful machine, graceful and sleek as a gazelle. It hardly makes any noise (just a peaceful swish, swish and ... click, click) while far more expensive ellipticals are very loud and ugly sounding. I can pick it up and fold it into an easy to carry, secure rectangle and put it in my coat closet if I feel like it. The best part is the workout. I was skeptical when I first assembled it, but I am in very good shape and this machine gave me sore muscles that I didn't know I have. While I have been working out religiously for a long time and was already in good shape, this machine -- in 30 minutes a day -- has taken my fitness to another level. I have never been so happy with any of the dozens of fitness equipment I purchased as I am with the Gazelle Edge.
Love, Love the Gazelle Glider, I have always wanted one. It is So easy on my knees, lower back, and total body.
I really like the whole size of this equipment and it's simplicity. It is easy on my hips, knees and ankles. Exactly what I needed!
I ordered this item at an academy store. The clerk placed the order for me and even credit back the shipping charge. Great customer service for sure. For the price, the air walker is pretty sturdy and very quiet. The other great advantage is that it is foldable and movable. I only wished it had resistant knobs, but only the elliptical with a wheel can have that from my research. Disadvantage will be that it won't be foldable and rather heavy to move. We are happy with our purchase.
Bought online, received in 5 days, assembled in 1+ hr ( by myself), has the programming to help me drop some pounds.
Initial opinion is positive. I was worried about moving 250+ pounds of equipment down to the basement--came in manageable pieces (none over 70 lbs.). With the help of my wife, got everything downstairs. Was worried about putting it together--no problem, easy directions. Had bad squeak when first started using it, but--no problem. When I discovered where the mysterious last screw went, the squeak went away. I'm sure the $2000 machines have more features, buy I'm satisfied. I'm 65. In 30 minutes I ... sweat through my shirt and get my heart rate over 120. That's all I wanted. Hope it lasts!
Considering being a female and not working with this item before, it was not difficult to assemble! All the tools are included. This machine is not noisy. I have it set up on carpet and it is stable. When you stepping and holding the two bottom hand rests the other two long handles go back and forth and you feel it is going to hit you, but it won't. I bought his elliptical last month, so far no issues.
Bought this onsale at Academy. The eliptical part has an issue. The trainer is too harrow. If you are standing up and trying to use it, it wobbles from side to side. Also, the foot peddles are too close to the front and not adjustable. The "bike" portion works pretty good but here's what I had to do. 1st, I added a plywood base that widens the base and fixes the problem with center of gravity. No more wobble. 2nd. I had to buy a larger seat from 3rd party as the existing hurts you after a while. ... Not sure I'd recommend.
I bought this a little while ago and it was delivered quick. Was easy to put together I did it buy myself and works great.
I've had this about a month and am working up to using it more frequently and longer but I feel its' benefits every time I use it. The equipment is very well made and strong. I would suggest you get a little help during assembly since it a bit heavy and awkward to assemble for older folks. All in all... a great piece of equipment to exercise and to help improve my flexibility... very important as we age.
Easy to put together . Well constructed and easy to use
I bought this about a month and a half ago. I put it together myself, no assistance from my husband. Once I got it together, began using it, and it works you out. It feels like being on one of the larger machines. Except, the cost was less.
Assembly was straight forward using the supplied tools. Compact design affords reduced space requirements. So far works as advertised.
My boyfriend started assembling the gazelle when he noticed the left hydraulic cylinder was broken off. I've called the manufacture 3 times in the past 2 weeks with no results. I spoke with a employee at Academy Sports and i think he will send me a replacement. I enjoy it just hope i get what i paid for.
Even better than an eliptical! Portability was the feature that drew me to the Gazelle, but now that I have used it, I wouldn't want an eliptical. The Gazelle puts you in control of which muscles you're focusing on and allows for a much greater range of motion.
Sturdy, smooth, tons of features. All around I love it!
For the price, it is an good product. A little less stable than you might want, but then instability does add to the workout. Variable resistance would be a great improvement, and stability could be enhanced by heavier base feet (but that would trade off portability).
It is fantastic works everything in one machine easy assembly.
I really like how sturdy this one is. I had a cheap one and it was very wobbly and was difficult to assemble. This one is very stable and assembly was very straightforward. Parts are weighty but even an out of shape old lady like me was able to put it together by myself. Only criticism is that the computer does not have an off function. You have to unplug it.
This machine isn't what I thought it would be. It it isn't stable and it rocks when in use. I would have returned it but I had already pay for assembly. Will just have to make the best of it. I had tried a different one in store (same brand ) it was better.
