So glad I bought this. Easy to use. Great for home.
I've had my compact strider for 6 months and use it almost every day. It can be used while sitting or standing; I primarily use mine standing in the den or the living room while watching TV or working on the computer. It provides me with a great workout and because it's so small and compact it can be moved out of the way when not in use. The only thing I would do differently if buying one today is I would get it with the handle in order to easily move it around the house
I have been shopping around for a treadmill for a while. It seems like they are either cheap and really feel it, or way over my price range to have a good quality one. This was a middle of the road price point and totally worth it. I have no problem doing 3-4 miles with no issues. The lift feature works well. The fan is not so great and blows right on your groin area. This was solved by having a normal fan next to the treadmill. Not super quiet but not super loud either. A nice, middle of the ... road treadmill. NO regrets about the purchase.
Bought it 2 months ago and works great. I am moderately mechanically inclined so it was easy to put together. Definitely a 2 man job though. It's quiet, I make more noise walking than the machine does running. Smooth transition from different levels. I love my treadmill!
I bought this a month ago & am very happy with it. It is easy to use for the whole family. Great alternative when I can't walk outside due to the weather. Only complaints are it really needs a handle as it is not super heavy but awkward to move from one spot to another. Also, after repeated use, there is a little squeak & the wheels leave a black residue, so information on what to use to grease it should be included in the manual. I have looked in the manual & online without information. ... Otherwise, great product!
I'm definitely not one to get up and go running or drive to the gym...the fact that I can park this in front of the tv and it doesn't take up my entire living room is perfect. Its low impact, nice on my knees and hips which are trashed from years of running back in the day but gives a decent workout. The only minor disappointment was the tension dial doesn't seem to do much of anything. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I received this yesterday, put it together in less than 30 minutes and completed the first 30 minute workout. I am 6' tall and 250 lbs. This product allowed full leg extension while rowing and seemed very sturdy during each pull. After serving 20 years in the Marine Corps (Infantry) I was seeking a low impact cardio alternative to running. After one 30 minute session I can honestly say this rowing machine provides a full body workout without the soreness of my joints. HAPPY ROWING!
The rower does offer very good resistance and workout. Feels quite balanced and sturdy. The downside is the seat is a bit small, the handlebar is short and it is noisier than others I've worked out on - albeit those cost 2-3 times more. My recommendations is based on money - if on a budget then I recommend this product, if you can afford to spend a lot more then go for the more expensive rower.
I really wanted a rower but didn't really have anywhere to put one. This rower is very compact and takes up very little space. I just lean it on the entertainment center when it's not in use. It has good tension for the arms and It also has a feature that can give you a slight incline which helps with even more tension. It displays calories, distance, reps ect. and I really like that so I can track my progress. It's really everything you would want in a rower and it's perfect for small spaces.
This is a great piece of equipment to add to my home gym. It took a bit to assemble but once done I couldn't wait to try it out! It suits my needs perfectly. I am not new to exercise but my routines have had to change due to Rheumatoid Arthritis and this doesn't hurt! It has a challenging levels and easy levels. I recommend to fitness enthusiasts who are not Ironmen or women but want a good workout!
My dad's legs have gotten quite weak, so this allows him to get the circulation going when he is sitting down and watching the news. Instead of being a couch potato, he gets a little exercise. The resistance is light, which is fine for him - normally active people would find it too easy.
This is the second bike of this type I've bought, and it's made it possible for me to be active almost every day.
I bought my elliptical a month ago and I'm happy with it this far. It is a basic machine but gets the job done. Looks good and doesn't take up a ton of space either. I would recommend this to others looking for a simple elliptical that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
Igor this bike about a month ago and I love that I can ride it anytime I want and it is easy to get on and off from it
Easy to put together comes with tools and instructions. It gets the job done no complaints here, I'm on it right now writing this review working up a sweat
I ride a bicycle every day for exercise. I'm also an avid golfer. Due to an injury I had to curtail my activities considerably. I ordered this little minibike in order to keep my legs in shape, and also my endurance. It has been absolutely great! I can move this bike around wherever I want it. It doesn't take up a lot of space like a big exercycle, and it kept me active and in shape while recovering from injury. A great piece of equipment for older people too!
Both my wife and I use the mini bike every day and have noticed better walking ability. I have not been able to adjust the tension since the knob just seems to work the knob only.
Everyone was helpful at the store.. we really are enjoying Elliptical..
Assembly was straight forward using the supplied tools. Compact design affords reduced space requirements. So far works as advertised.
I bought this rower in November of 2015 and like others my flywheel blew out about a year later. Since then I have received 2 additional fly wheels sent to me that did not work, however XTERRA's customer service offered to send me a entirely new unit without even asking for it. While the rower was actually working it was a great product however after so many failures I wanted to give up but the customer service has been great and saved me as a customer..
My husband and I bought this rower about a month ago. We have not been happy with our gym and started acquiring gym equipment for our basement. We had neither used a rowing machine before purchasing this. We wanted a non treadmill piece of cardio equipment. Works up a great sweat, and works all parts of your body. We had to do some modifications to the foot pedals because I have such smal feet. The straps wouldn't hold my feet in place. My husband also didn't like where the strap went across his ... foot. My husband only spent about 30 minutes putting it together. Great overall purchase!
We bought this a month ago and have enjoyed using it. The only problem we have with the bike is the pulse feature doesn't work but that is not an issue with us, a review in the past said that most of the pulse monitors did not work as will as they should on any of the bikes no matter what brand you purchase. We have one that is exactly like Dr. offices use and that is what we depend on if we so choose.
I am happy with this purchase. The only reason I did not give it five stars, is that I have only used it in "no resistance" mode. I had my knee replaced and feel that having this bike was key in getting flexion back in my knee. It is quiet, comfortable and sturdy. The seat adjustment was good as I progressed with my rehab. I will most likely continue to use this after reaching my recovery goals.
Great bike for the price. Very quiet, which I like. Have arthritis in my knees. My ortho dr recommended a recumbent bike. My husband has knee problems as well. So far, this bike is working great for both of us.
Still shocked that we could buy this outfit for under 200.00 ! Impressive design that takes minimal space and is easily moved out of the living room when we have guests. Assembly was quick and simple and quality of materials and hardware exceeded our expectations. My wife and I have not skipped a day on this the bike since we got it. Both of us have lowered our blood pressure and lost a few pounds in the first month. Usually ride approximately 3 miles. p/ day. I appreciate having a way to get ... good cardio workout without impact on my knees..
This bike is very easy to assemble. I had the whole thing put together in 35 minutes. One thing I was concerned about was being able to ride it and extending my legs all the way. So many people have posted reviews saying it's not for tall people. I'm 6'2" with a 36 inch inseam and have no problem fully extending my legs. There are still two more notches to move the seat back. Two things I have noticed are the heart monitor is not consistent. It sometimes works and other times doesn't. If ... I push down on the hand sensors, the heart monitor will come back on. There may be a lose wire in one of the sensors. The other thing is the bike is very quiet however, it beeps at every minute and plays a little toon when you finish. They are very loud so if anyone is sleeping they will wake up. So far I haven't figured out how to turn down the volume or turn them off. Besides that, I love the bike. I been riding it for a month now and it's helped me get my legs in better shape, I have more energy now and my blood pressure is down.
The bike is a great bike for exercise but the heart rate monitor is way out of wack. I ended up purchasing a chest strap monitor so that I could get good readings. The heart rate monitor on the bike was double what my new monitor is. This was the 2nd 230 that I purchased as I was told the first one was probably just defective. This will not be returned as it would cost as much as the bike. The price at Academy Sports was outstanding.
I bought this bike from amazon a year or so ago. I paid around $125 for it. I was leery at first because of the low price; however, it is perfect. I have it in our media room and ride it almost every night while watching television. Because of the way that it is made, it takes up less space than a full fledged recumbent bike. It is easy to assemble (comes in a few pieces) and easy to move around!
I've been very disappointed with this bike. It's not a smooth peddling bike at all. It's quite jerky.
Bought this onsale at Academy. The eliptical part has an issue. The trainer is too harrow. If you are standing up and trying to use it, it wobbles from side to side. Also, the foot peddles are too close to the front and not adjustable. The "bike" portion works pretty good but here's what I had to do. 1st, I added a plywood base that widens the base and fixes the problem with center of gravity. No more wobble. 2nd. I had to buy a larger seat from 3rd party as the existing hurts you after a while. ... Not sure I'd recommend.
I bought this a little while ago and it was delivered quick. Was easy to put together I did it buy myself and works great.
I had a problem with my treadmill not inclining and Daniel the customer service representative was very kind and swiftly took care of my problem for me. Even sent me emails to stay up to date as I'm a busy person and can't always answer my phone. Even though I had a problem with the treadmill at least I don't have to worry na out getting it fixed. Daniel took care of all of it for me.
I have had my treadmill for over a week, and so far so good. My daughter and I love it.I put it together myself and it didn't take too long. Everything is running smoothly. Speed is good, Incline is good and all the functions work.
Sturdy, smooth, tons of features. All around I love it!
