I have been shopping around for a treadmill for a while. It seems like they are either cheap and really feel it, or way over my price range to have a good quality one. This was a middle of the road price point and totally worth it. I have no problem doing 3-4 miles with no issues. The lift feature works well. The fan is not so great and blows right on your groin area. This was solved by having a normal fan next to the treadmill. Not super quiet but not super loud either. A nice, middle of the ... road treadmill. NO regrets about the purchase.
This treadmill is better than treadmills I have used at various health clubs. Very well built and easy to assemble. Having the controls on the handles is great.
I bought this a month ago & am very happy with it. It is easy to use for the whole family. Great alternative when I can't walk outside due to the weather. Only complaints are it really needs a handle as it is not super heavy but awkward to move from one spot to another. Also, after repeated use, there is a little squeak & the wheels leave a black residue, so information on what to use to grease it should be included in the manual. I have looked in the manual & online without information. ... Otherwise, great product!
Like many people I am often challenged with trying to find time to get to the gym. I'm up at 5:00 a.m. and seldom make it home before 9:00 p.m. running from work to my kids' sporting events. I was getting more frustrated with my legs, which are not ready for shorts season and decided to investigate alternative workout/toning options. I am so incredibly happy that I stumbled upon the Stamina InMotion Elliptical. Now while I'm at my desk typing I do so while "riding" my Elliptical. I've already ... seen some toning beginning to take shape on my thighs! Looking forward to seeing continued results.
I received this yesterday, put it together in less than 30 minutes and completed the first 30 minute workout. I am 6' tall and 250 lbs. This product allowed full leg extension while rowing and seemed very sturdy during each pull. After serving 20 years in the Marine Corps (Infantry) I was seeking a low impact cardio alternative to running. After one 30 minute session I can honestly say this rowing machine provides a full body workout without the soreness of my joints. HAPPY ROWING!
The rower does offer very good resistance and workout. Feels quite balanced and sturdy. The downside is the seat is a bit small, the handlebar is short and it is noisier than others I've worked out on - albeit those cost 2-3 times more. My recommendations is based on money - if on a budget then I recommend this product, if you can afford to spend a lot more then go for the more expensive rower.
I really wanted a rower but didn't really have anywhere to put one. This rower is very compact and takes up very little space. I just lean it on the entertainment center when it's not in use. It has good tension for the arms and It also has a feature that can give you a slight incline which helps with even more tension. It displays calories, distance, reps ect. and I really like that so I can track my progress. It's really everything you would want in a rower and it's perfect for small spaces.
This is a great piece of equipment to add to my home gym. It took a bit to assemble but once done I couldn't wait to try it out! It suits my needs perfectly. I am not new to exercise but my routines have had to change due to Rheumatoid Arthritis and this doesn't hurt! It has a challenging levels and easy levels. I recommend to fitness enthusiasts who are not Ironmen or women but want a good workout!
I was very pleased with how solid and stable this machine is. It took two people to assemble, but the instructions were clear and all parts accounted for. It operates smoothly. I would have liked the fitness meter to have a brighter read out, but it's not much of an issue.
The construction is very good and feels very stable and solid after several rowing sessions. The rowing action, resistance, grips, and footholds are all comfortable. It is an "Air" resistance rower so there is the noise of the fan but otherwise a quiet machine with no squeaking or creaking from parts rubbing. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the display could be better. It is a little dark which makes it difficult to see in a room that is not brightly lit. Overall a very rower and a good value.
I tried the Marcy Air 1 at my local Academy location and found it quite comfortable and easy to adjust. I promptly bought one and have been using it for about 3 weeks. I am seeing great results and have particularly noticed increased flexibility and strength in my legs. Smart move on my part!
This is a great exercise bike for the money. I couldn't justify paying twice the money for a larger bike. This unit requires little floor space and yet it is extremely stable while excercising. Don't let it's size fool you because it provides a full work out. The computer records information that I like to chart (distance, time and calories). This way you can compete with yourself on the next ride.
I am 6ft. 4in. 225lbs and this bike fits mostly. My sz.16 feet are too big for the pedals w/shoes and heels still hit floor w/o shoes. It seems to have good stability.and did not come w/batteries.
I bought this a month ago. The price was unbeatable and it was easy to put together. Use it every day and I'm not one bit sorry I bought it. Better than more expensive machines I have purchased in the past.
I bought this from my local Academy to be able to work out at my desk. I've found I love it so much, I may buy another for home! Great seated or standing, no one at work even knows I'm stepping all day! Love it!
Weight: 6 pounds. I 've used this for a week and am quite pleased to have a light weight stepper. I have a larger one in front of the TV, but wanted one that I could easily move outside when the weather is nice. At first I thought it was jerky, but after I sprayed the joints with WD40, it is smooth as silk.
This bike is easy to assemble and it works good when I make the seat at the level of my pelvis, it takes small space as about a regular chair plus one foot. Overall it is smooth no sound comes from it. Only you have take care of assembling the tension cable as I will take extra one minute of thinking. Otherwise every step is easy to be done. The seat is fine but you may need extra cover if you use it for long time. The bike work great I love it Thank you all
I bought this exercise bike about two weeks ago and I'm very satisfied with it. Very easy to put together. I love how the seat feels and is easy to use. Very happy with it.
I got my bike by UPS- free shipping! My husband assembled it and it wasn't hard at all. It is very senior citizen friendly. Not real heavy to move around if you needed. Very sturdy, easy viewing of all the features. I am really happy I bought it. I have been riding it 30 minutes a day- 4 days a week and I love it!
Was not to difficult to assemble...did take a little to figure out how to get the resistant clasp connected...must loosen it before attaching and tightening(was not in the instructions). Otherwise instructions were clear. I will need to get some thread lock because I use daily and bolts do come loose, no big deal though. For $100 it is a great deal, it does not take up to much space and is just as comfortable as the expensive bikes at the gym. Never got to get the pulse feature to work but ... probably would not use that anyways. Overall I think it was well worth the money and I am glad I did not spend $500+.....yes I have to manually change the resistant levels vs having a fancy display screen do that for me but the last fancy bike I had that did that the screen went out after a few years so much for the more you spend better the quality.
I've owned this Schwinn 430 for about 2-3 weeks now, after owning a cheaper elliptical that gave me so many problems. I have to say this machine is well worth the extra money, extremely similar quality to a machine you'd find at a gym and under $1000. The resistance is very good, I will use a middle level at the machine at gym, but only use the easiest level on this machine. Also, so far it is QUIET and smooth. Yay! It is very sturdy, fan works well...I have no complaints. You won't ... regret spending a few extra $ for this machine.
Love my new elliptical. It works great, love the features and a great size. Only problem we had was taking a long time to put it together, but the instructions made it fairly easy just time consuming. No complaints otherwise, works great!
Great bike for the price. Very quiet, which I like. Have arthritis in my knees. My ortho dr recommended a recumbent bike. My husband has knee problems as well. So far, this bike is working great for both of us.
Easy to assemble, very quiet, 2nd 1 of this type of bike I have owned and am very happy.
I bought this a couple a weeks ago, got it and put it together. I am disappointed, the compact size is nice, but the large version of the eliptical I had before was much smoother. This one is jumpy and hurts my arthritic joints.
Bought the machine and it was delivered on time and in good condition. Wife had started assembly before I got home and it went together well. Directions were easy to follow. No issues. Works well.
Initial opinion is positive. I was worried about moving 250+ pounds of equipment down to the basement--came in manageable pieces (none over 70 lbs.). With the help of my wife, got everything downstairs. Was worried about putting it together--no problem, easy directions. Had bad squeak when first started using it, but--no problem. When I discovered where the mysterious last screw went, the squeak went away. I'm sure the $2000 machines have more features, buy I'm satisfied. I'm 65. In 30 minutes I ... sweat through my shirt and get my heart rate over 120. That's all I wanted. Hope it lasts!
Considering being a female and not working with this item before, it was not difficult to assemble! All the tools are included. This machine is not noisy. I have it set up on carpet and it is stable. When you stepping and holding the two bottom hand rests the other two long handles go back and forth and you feel it is going to hit you, but it won't. I bought his elliptical last month, so far no issues.
A friend of mine has this piece of equipment and she lost 30 lbs in a month. Therefore, I am excited that my fiance` is getting me this for my birthday so that I may get my body back into shape as well.
Got this tread mill it is awesome if you want to use it go ahead on the top you can put your phone right there
I love the auto Incline in the workout program. I would not use the i fit but if you want to pay 39.99 a month to use it go ahead. .
I bought this a few months ago. I put it together by my self. Came with everything you need. The bike is great! Easy seat adjustment. Like other ratings said the seat is kinda hard. So far though no biggie. Would suggest buying.
Great exercise bike... the only thing the seat is to hard.. but you can buy a seat academy... for 25 bucks.
Was somewhat unsure about stability due to the size of the unit, but it's very stable and putting it together was very simple. The instructions were very straightforward and parts were solid. This was a gift for my girlfriend who wanted one for a while now, and when she uses it I can't hear it. It's incredibly quiet which is great when I'm trying to work on something at the same time. She's pretty short and the seat doesn't quite go down to a short enough level, but she likes everything else ... about it that she didn't want to swap it out.
This is by far the best bike I've used! I've been to many gyms and the "gym quality" equipment spent compare. Yes the ones at the gym may be bigger but this is absolutely perfect for home workouts! Its simple to put together, sturdy and I love that it has so many levels of restrictance! I'm 5'6 135 and it fits me perfectly with the seat in the middle position! Don't spend hundreds of dollars, this is the one!
