Great shoe far past its value! I would buy again. The only problem and I would probably give it 4 1/2 stars its because the foam insole its not very soft. In fact it makes the insole hard as if nothing is there. I f you decide to buy the shoe you will not be disappointed on the color, wear or quality but purchase some really good insoles to go along with them and you will have and excellent work shoe!
best work shoes i have ever purchased
When I started CNA work I tried quite a few different brands of sneakers (6) and these were the only ones that kept my feet and legs from feeling tired after my shift.
Best thing I ever did was switch from shoes for crews to Sketchers Work. I have been wearing them since they came out. No break in time, just put them on and go.
These shoes are very comfortable. I cannot attest to their durability but I have no reason to think that they would not last.
I have very bad feet and all the "special" shoes I get are heavy. These are very light and make walking a lot easier. I have collapsed arches, so being able to remove the insole, allowes for my special inserts.... most shows I've seen can't be adapted this way.
I bought these boots a month or so ago to wear as my work boots. First off: They are a great deal for what you get. Second: They came on the exact arrival date if you track your order. Third: They are way more then I expected. They are great quality and very comfortable. The only thing I advise for people who also want to purchase these is get an insole for them. I have high arches and I am going to purchase an insole to better suit my feet. I'm sure that will make them all the more comfortable.
These boots were out of stock at the Auburn, AL store but an extremely helpful employee ordered them online for me and had them shipped straight to my house in NY in just a few days. The boots are great, super comfortable and get the job done. I ordered half a size up from my normal sneaker size and they fit perfect. Can't beat them for the price!
I personally have been using this style as well in past the lace up version. My current pair I've worn totally out , worn the tread down to near 100% slick. Also have been using and this current pair of Boots I purchased in 2013. That should say something. From working with Haz Mat , Forest Industry, Pipeline , ( in Louisiana FYI ), also in Oil/ Gas, Frac jobs in Colorado and North Dakota in extreme - temp. Oh they are beat and worn now , as after that many years of wear they should be.
Bought a pair in 2006 in TX. Sturdy boot and cushioned extremely well. The outsides are a little rough after all these years but love how they fit. The side padding can feel a little bulky to some but these are an "industrial" style boot. I'd rather have the extra protection and be able to take these in a warehouse/machinery environment. Want a thinner boot on the sides, look at other pairs. With some decent jeans, they can be pulled off in a casual office setting. Looking to purchase a 2nd pair ... shortly but still keep the 1st pair for heavy work around the house. These boots are well worth the money and you won't regret the purchase.
I am Diabetic and need to wear safety toes to keep the shoe from rubbing on the tops of my feet. These are awesome shoes for work and running errands around town. These are so comfortable I almost forget they are mainly for work so I wear them every where I go.
Very comfortable work shoes. I need safety toe shoes and these work well. The memory foam insoles are very comfortable. Shoe is true to size. I ordereda 14 W. Fits great.
Well, I haven't returned them yet. So, that's a good sign. Lol. Seriously, a very freaking comfortable pair of boots. No complaints yet. I walked a mile and nothing to complain about. Haven't ran in them yet, but I hope nothing bad happens.
Very good boot but it is not waterproof. I have had mone for about six months and water does get in them.
I bought these boots on line at academy.com and they are the best boots I've ever had.
I was needing a new pair of work boots so thought I would try a pair of these ,really I figured I just have to return them just thought that a pair of boots that didn't cost 125 bucks or above was most likely junk but ooo was I wrong the boots are every bit as good or better than Justin's or Ariats. I'm planning on getting a second pair just to set back for the future . Ps I wear a size 11 and just slightly big I personally like bigger than too tight ..hope this helps
Very nice boots got them for grandchild for christmas
Great work boots love the look and comfort. I will buy them again
Nice boots for money but insoles are made into boot once wore my foot was literally on the sole no padding hardly in heel part bottoms of feet are sore any insole options
I bought these for work when I have to go onto a construction site. But I also started using them when I'm working in the stables. I had to wear them maybe twice before I completely broke them in. Since then they are comfortable enough for the entire day. They do run large. I wear a 7.5 about 95% of the time, but these I had to get in a 7.
I bought these boots about a month ago. I wear them everyday to work. Although I do like them, they are very stiff and im still breaking them in.
I'm pleased to say that I've only worn Ariat boots for the last 20 years because nothing else lasts and is as comfortable. I bought 1 pair and after a week was so pleased I bought a second pair and rotate every other day. They look great but finally the sole is at it's end. I walk on concrete all day and it's not kind to anything. These have held up great. I'll be ordering a couple more pairs soon. Thanks Ariat for your great boots.
I have been the owner of Thea's work boots for a little over a year now. I want to thank ARIAT for assembling the most comfortable and rugged footwear out there! I use the toe kicks for just about everything and they still look almost new. With any other boot by now I would've gone through the toe kick and through the leather and the steel toe would've been showing. I'm thinking I'll get at least another year out of them. I'd really like to know where I can get some factory insoles so I can make ... this year as comfortable as the last.
Lightweight comfortable Good price I like a shoes.
As a dealership technician I can guarantee you that the shoes are so comfortable and slip resistant you will be amazed for the amount of money that you spent on them.
I HAVE BEEN WEARING THESE FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS OR SO. YOU CAN NOT BEAT THEM. I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH YOU PAY FOR A BOOT IF YOU ARE WORKING IT, THEY WON'T LAST. IF I AM WORKING A BOOT IT IS NOT GOING TO LAST 6 MONTHS ANYWAY. I COULD BUY 4 PAIRS OF THESE A YEAR AND STILL PAY LESS THAN SOME "REDWING" TYPE, WHICH WILL WEAR OUT IN THE SAME 5 OR SIX MONTHS OF HEAVY USE. COULD USE SOME VARIATIONS ON STYLE.
I ordered these boots online for my son for Christmas, they came in VERY quickly and fit perfectly.. He is pleased and so am I.. Excellent price and superb shipping.
These are so comfortable that I wear them everywhere including Church.
Bought these for security job. I have to stand 12+ hrs a day. Bought 1/2 size bigger to wear thick sock. Break in not a problem. Wore them my whole shift with no pain or problems. Was told I walk like a robot, but thats ok. Comfort matters!
I work for the DOC and a POSC Instructor. I was prior law enforcement, so I've tried lots of brand/styles. I was getting blisters, sore, and sweaty with the gym shoes since I thought that'd be the way to go. I was originally going to purchase the Under Armour Women's Valsetz Stealth Duty Boots, but my husband who has UA boots talked me out of it saying they don't last long. I'm so glad he did!! I wore these for the first week over 8 hours each day on regular duty to break in. Let's just say they ... took less than 2 hours to break in! They were so comfortable I didn't want to take them off. I had POSC, doing mat work, strikes, pivots, and so forth. A few other instructors bought the UA boots and said they didn't last long. Sure enough, their foot was pushng against the wall and offered no support. I got a lot of compliments about these boots. They look professional and you can shine them to look sharp in front of students/ management. They gave me everything I wanted and more: Comfort, Durability, Support, and Professional. Look no further for fantastic boots!! You can't beat the quality Bates gives you. Spend a little more and get boots your feet will thank you for. Thank you Bates!
Great boots!! I've been wearing these boots for a long time and they are great for working
I have worn Justin Boots both at work and outside of work year-round for about 5 years. Quite often I wear my safety toes outside of work when doing housework, hiking, or riding motorcycles. This boot was the first time I bought composite and they not only feel better, but broke in quicker than traditional steel toes. This is the same basic boot I have worn for 5 years, and each pair last me about a year with me walking 2-4 miles per day on concrete at work then outside of work doing a multitude ... of things including a lot of hard use.
I wear these at work as a process operator, and also on my off days working around the house. Great fit, great value.
