Great shoe far past its value! I would buy again. The only problem and I would probably give it 4 1/2 stars its because the foam insole its not very soft. In fact it makes the insole hard as if nothing is there. I f you decide to buy the shoe you will not be disappointed on the color, wear or quality but purchase some really good insoles to go along with them and you will have and excellent work shoe!
Comfortable but the sizes are off. It may be the make but my right foot stubs against the front.
Very light weight and comfortable. I am on my feet 10 plus hrs a day at work these do it make my feet hurt at all
Even though slip resistant shoes aren't always required I am a clutz! So I generally like to buy them no matter what job I happen to have at the time. But I was tired of the same white and black. Most shoe outlets only offer those 2 colors. So I went and ordered these online. I was concerned about the alloy toe because I've worn steel toe before and they are SO UNCOMFORTABLE! But now I'm glad it's there. It doesn't take away from the comfort factor at all. It does make them a little heavy so I ... wouldn't recommend them for the injured or elderly but definitely an awesome shoe!
Purchased first pair of these from a store. Liked them so much I wanted a second pair for work. Ordered direct from company.
I am on my feet all day. I am very comfortable with this relaxed fit.
These shoes are very comfortable. I cannot attest to their durability but I have no reason to think that they would not last.
I wear an insert and have trouble finding shoes that fit. The ads touting "relaxed fit" had me thinking I might be in luck. The width and length were fine, but overall my foot just doesn't fit. It's a shame because they looked great. Back in the box...
i bought the shoe in june also,it is comfortable shoe.and i like the design of this shoe.thank you for this nice shoe.thank you for the shoe.hope the yall get the shoes..
Great for your feet if you work in an industry where you are on your feet all day. I didn't choose stylish in the review because they are a work shoe in my eyes. So comfortable. They are my 3 pair and it's all I'll ever buy for work. If you haven't tried them and are looking for a new work shoe to have your feet feel great on all day, don't hesitate to buy these.
They get beat up at work daily
I use this shoe for casual foot wear at home and while traveling. The shoe is extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. I walk a lot, so having this level of comfort is very welcoming.
I bought the same model of boots as my old pair cause my old pair were so comfortable and lasted so long. These new boots are being made different couldn't find any to fit!
I bought these boots for my job in the oilfield as a driller.and I would have to say these are some of the best boots ihave ever owned the only problem I have had with them is the outsole and how much the rubber wares off so quick other than that they are excellent
I have been wearing these for about 4 months. I work as an airplane mechanic and while these are a fairly comfortable boot, they are slick as can be if there is anything on the floor. The soles are a hard compound rubber and are not showing a ton of wear, but that in itself is why they are NOT non slip. I am up and down stands with expanded metal flooring and I can do the twist and shout easily even though the expanded metal is serrated to aid in traction. So if that is of any concern, I would ... look elsewhere. If you work out side on asphalt, dirt or groomed concrete these should do just fine.
Same as ordered six months ago great value if you dont mind replacing every six months
Well, I haven't returned them yet. So, that's a good sign. Lol. Seriously, a very freaking comfortable pair of boots. No complaints yet. I walked a mile and nothing to complain about. Haven't ran in them yet, but I hope nothing bad happens.
I bought these boots a couple months ago and they are my favorite pair of boots I purchased thus far. I'm a female jailer constantly on my feet. I was in desperate need of some new boots as my under armor boots were worn down and my feet were always hurting. It's extremely important for me to have a boot that is light weight, which is why I was not initially inclined to purchase a Bates brand boot because I have before and they were very heavy and uncomfortable. However this boot is very light ... weight, extremely comfortable (I just added an extra memory form insert for extra cushion on my feet) and fits my foot well. I like that it has the leather surface on top so that you can polish your boots and have a more professional look and there is material on the sides for your feet to breathe. I also like the side zipper feature. I would recommend this boot to any jailer or profession that your required to be on your feet a lot. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I've only had them a couple months and it's still too early to tell if they will remain in good condition, so far so good. I'm well pleased Bates designed this style.
Love the style of these steal toes. They look a lot like normal tennis shoes that I'd buy! However, I have a little bit of a wide foot, and they were a little snug. After loosening the laces and getting them broke in, they aren't so bad now. I'll be replacing the inserts as well because I'm finding my feet are tired at the end of the day, and they weren't with my previous shoes. Overall, great shoe... if I had I smaller foot or if they came in wide I would like them better:)
Bought this boot for work 2 year ago and it has not let me down yet. Very comfortable and made of quality material.
I Love the extra wide size so steel toe doesn't dig into the side of my foot
the boot is very comfortable. can stand all day in them pretty warm in mild weather. so far havent been able to tell how hot they will be in the summer time. i like the fact also you can change the insoles out as well and the reflective material also helps with safety as well. especially if youre in road work and deal with motorist on a daily basis. these boots are light with the carbon safety toe and not actually having a steal cap in the boot. the only con i have is at the ankle portion of the ... boot. it presses and rubs my ankle but may seems to be loosing up the more i wear them.
I bought this for my hubby who is a millwrite and spends 12 plus hours standing up. He needed a work boot that make it through out the day and comfortably possible. He requested this specific model because they are easy to put on and super safe to wear.
It was a good purchase & a good product; fit real well. Thanks.
I walk excessive amounts and needed a boot with a stiffer sole. This boot has that and is a very well made and comfortable boot.
Very comfortable right out of the box. Great boot!
I purchased this shoe about a year ago and it is still going strong. The steel toe is ideal for yard and other heavy work and it is very convenient not to have to tie up sneakers when working in my yard. It is extremely durable and I will purchase another pair once these ever wear out (if they do). I just today bought a pair for my wife's birthday in the retail store in Greenville, SC
An employee Stephen went above and beyond to assist me in finding the shoes I liked and even ordered them for me when they didn't have my size. I must say I really like them there comfortable during long hours and look respectable.
I'm pleased to say that I've only worn Ariat boots for the last 20 years because nothing else lasts and is as comfortable. I bought 1 pair and after a week was so pleased I bought a second pair and rotate every other day. They look great but finally the sole is at it's end. I walk on concrete all day and it's not kind to anything. These have held up great. I'll be ordering a couple more pairs soon. Thanks Ariat for your great boots.
Really good comfortable boots so far... seem to be pretty tough. The more they r breaking in, the better they get. Only been wearing for 2 months. Time will tell To see how they will last in a machine shop. The composite toes are much lighter than steel. So far so good... Only problem was when I first got them, one boot was a lil tighter than the other when new. But as they are breaking in, seems to be getting better.
My husband purchased these boots for work and loves them. We ended up having to order them through the more options device at the store since his size wasn't in stock. He is rough on work boots because he stands on a concrete surface 8-12 hours per day. He has had no issues from the boots at all. He has worn many different brands and styles for work and these have been through every test that he could have possibly put them through. They are the best boot for the money.
Was looking for a pair of waterproof boots with a soft toe for my husband's work. These were perfect, and the price was great!
I personally have been using this style as well in past the lace up version. My current pair I've worn totally out , worn the tread down to near 100% slick. Also have been using and this current pair of Boots I purchased in 2013. That should say something. From working with Haz Mat , Forest Industry, Pipeline , ( in Louisiana FYI ), also in Oil/ Gas, Frac jobs in Colorado and North Dakota in extreme - temp. Oh they are beat and worn now , as after that many years of wear they should be.
Have had dozens of pairs of these but ever since Dr. Martens outsourced to chime, like everyone else, the quality had really gone down hill. I'm 31 and I still have a pair I wore in high school, but then they were mad in England. They are hit and miss now. I had one pair fall apart, the sole broke in half. I didn't wanna buy another pair after that but I did and everyone since then has been alright.
