This is the Samba Classic, Adidas made a new Samba called the Samba Original. The Classic from this website is the one to get. It has a better arch support, its easier to slip on so youll only need to tie it one time. These clean up with just a quick wipe of dish soap and water when they get dirty. I ordered these on a Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. and they were delivered not only at the best price but at 11 a.m. the next morning. You won't be disappointed with these. I've bought this shoe more ... than any other shoe for over ten years.
I still remember wearing the Sambas some 20 years ago when I was in college and playing indoor soccer. I think I paid about $30-35 at Academy for them back then....and the price is about the only thing that has changed. My current pair is probably the 4th pair of Sambas I've owned, if that says anything about what I think of the product. One pair I used for casual wear while my next-to-newest pair have been reduced to 'yard work' duty.
Hello all, I am very pleased with these cleats, it has been over a year and they are still in excellent condition playing about once a week. Before I got these cleats, I used to have a nail issue with my big toe and it would take at least 6 months to renew. I thought that is how my toe+nail structure is but I was wrong. After getting these cleats, never had that problem. The best investment I did.
I'm on my second pair in the last month. I play soccer and football and the right shoe started splitting at the inside of the toe. The second pair is doing much better. I would probably buy another pair, just based on how nice the studs are.
I purchased 2 pairs of these soccer cleats, my children say they are comfortable to play in. The price was fair.
I needed an inexpensive pair of soccer cleats for my daughter to practice in and these are neat looking and well prices.
Before I decided to buy those shoes, I went online and compared the price in different stores. Academy Sports+ offered the best price I could find. The shoes are of a good quality, but I would recommend buying a half size bigger than your normal size.
I use these for indoor soccer and they work well. My only complaint is that my pinky toes feel squished but when I loosen them it's not that bad.
They are great i played 2 seasons with these shoe but they broke on me after the seasons.
I got these & they are great. they fit really well.
We were very happy with our purchase, and the customer service was very good.
Ordered these for my son & he loves them. The size chart online worked perfect for me to order the correct size
I got tow of that one for me and one for my son. he will start soccer school soon. he is very happy with his one. good as a start shoes.
Im very happy i got these cleats because now i can play soccer with grip & show off my cleats
I bought these about a month ago when they were $100 so I'm a little disappointed to see that they are $40 cheaper, but overall I'm happy with the performance of the shoe. I've played soccer all my life and they have served me well thus far. Having said that, if you have wide feet like me, then there will be about a week or 2 required to break these in. I would likely go with a wider shoe for my next purchase.
I have never filled out a review in my life, but after buying these shoes I had to let people know that you do not have to buy $200 cleats. I had a game one day, but my $150 cleats were locked up and inaccessible. I ran to academy and bought the cheapest pair,Brava Ignite, they sold. I slipped them on and ran straight into the game and instantly noticed the comfort. I really like the cloth texture on them too. It gives you a nice touch on the ball. Anyway, I got a goal on these new kicks ... right out the box and played in compete comfort. Let's see how long they last.
Tough to find a wide soccer shoe, and I have commonly paid in the $129 and up range not for the "touch", but because it was the most comfortable. As my son has grown, we have had a harder and harder time finding a wide enough soccer shoe, and after trying every brand in every price range, this relatively inexpensive shoe fit the bill.
We were looking for a soccer shoe that had a wider toe box - this one fit the bill. Very comfortable, no rubbing!
My son loves Messi and so we decided to buy these cleats and they have been great! Plus free shipping and they were here in a timely matter.
Very nice texture. I especcialy enjoyed the touch that it has
Good option when shoes not in stock. Good customer service for telling me the option.
This cleat is realy good in running and their realy good for passes i recomend this cleat for deferense and strikers
Got shoes in two days. Fit great. Breakung them in now. So far so good. Twenty dollars cheaper than other store.
Bought these for my daughter. They are a bit wider than the Nike, so they are more comfortable. Can't beat the price either.
So happy and I need more that kind of opportunity of academy
My son plays 7 days a week either in the back yard or with his team. He really likes these shoes and he is picky. They were reasonably priced and he says they are comfortable.
They feel so good especially while playing outside
I don't know if it's just me but these cleats are being difficult to break in and a pain to put on Also the upper material is super thin, I'll give it a few more weeks before I make any changes.
Bought item a month ago and my son loves his shoes
I bought these a few months back and all I Can say is that the touch is great, they're comfortable, and light.
I bought these for my son. He loves them. Lightweight but sturdy. Well made.
