Bought this table about a month ago- and while it is on the higher end of the price-for-performance spectrum, it's a fine product. The only complaint I really have is that the ball/racket holder is pretty basic and flimsy. Also- this table lacks expandable legs for leveling, which at this price point should have been included. Would buy again!
"Very heavy" press board with a laminate top.Not even a littlie bit of assembly, a lot of screws and parts. had to remove 40 shipping staples from bottom of table top to prevent injury to children crawling or playing under table. Middle seams at the net do not have protective covering so any fluid spill will be soaked up and ruin table, That's what people do when you put a table in front of them. No accessories, Fair net. Good quality hardware and good folding storage. Rates a C+ on looks when ... assembled. I think it's over priced at $299. I should have looked for better product.
This shipped fairly promptly to California and arrived as scheduled. The assembly instructions were extremely clear and easy to follow. It took about four hours to build and I'm satisfied with its sturdiness and convenience. The quality is very good. I don't know how well it will hold up, but it folds and unfolds nicely, rolls very smoothly, and seems stable and secure for play.
This table is a good value. It takes a long time to put together, but once it's done, it works very well. It folds nicely so our car still fits in the garage. We're glad we made this purchase.
we bought this table over the weekend, took it home and had it together in about 2 hours. wasn't difficult but the tools you "Should" use are not what's listed. first off, you'll do yourself a huge favor if you use a cordless drill instead of a scrrewdriver. also, a socket/ratchett with 7/16 AND a crescent wrench. be sure to lay everything out first and READ the directions first. I've read other reviews by folks that took HOURS to put it together. that's ridiculous. just read through the tech ... specs, lay everything out afterwards, and do exactly as it says. piece of cake. it's really a very sturdy table. we've played on it for hours now! folded it up and put it away, several times now. nothing is lose or needs retightened. I wouldn't recommend one of the cheaper tables. this is about the best one for the best price. as with anything, you get what you pay for. NO, it's not an industrial grade table that we would put in the rec center but it will certainly last for a long time in the family game room.
Took 5 hours to put together by my husband. Table looks good except it came with a lot of chips where table meets net. After 5 hours he wasn't gonna let me ask for replacement so I'm going to use blue marker to cover particle board showing. Not sure if I missed something but I thought top would be black from description online. PS beware the price was way higher on cyber Monday because they raised shipping price by about 100$. I'm sure it will be great but a lot of cussing putting together.
This Stiga Coronado Outdoor Table Tennis Table is sturdy and well-balanced. Two of our older sons used power tools (they recommend this) to assemble it. They had it up and were playing in fewer than 3 hours. They love it. A great Christmas gift for the family that will last through wet & dry outdoor weather and some rough play. The aluminum top is a great idea. Our last table warped, became what our sons called it their "Rocky Mountain Ping Pong Table. We live on the front range of these ... mountains, so its name was appropriate The play was bizarre We are happy to have a table that will last
I wanted to give my kids a ping pong table for Christmas. We live in FL and needed an outdoor table for our patio. I was told an indoor table wouldn't last 3 months if left outside, even if under a covered patio. This table was the most reasonably priced table I could find. Total cost including delivery was the best at Academy Sports. The table went together pretty easily (my husband is fairly handy). It looks nice and appears that it will last as long as no one sits on it or abuses it. It moves ... very easily when we want to store it. The table has a decent bounce although not as great as a wood (or MDF) table. Overall, I'm very happy with our purchase.
I bought this table and assembly was challenging. The support tubes are not designed very well as they are interchangeable and the the plastic washers hang up on the hinges on two of them. Contacted customer service thinking they sent the wrong tubes and received a very uncaring and uninterested individual. Modified it myself and works ok. The table is a good value other than that. My opinion, table better than their customer service.
So Much Fun... well built! Great for competitive playing or just messing around.
