Just bought and assembled the table this week. Yes, assembly will take 2-5 hours, depending on how skilled you are and what tools you have...but the instructions are very good, all the pieces were there, and all the holes were in the right places, so it went together pretty easy. The table is solid and looks like it will last for a long time. The wheels are also very good. It rolls around very nicely on my patio. Fold up and set up is a breeze. My only negative comment is that, with the purchase ... of a $300 table, you would think they could throw in a set of cheap paddles at least.
This table has been great! It is very sturdy. Easy to fold up and roll away. It took awhile to put together but all the parts were there and everything went in the holes that were provided. It is very heavy so someone has to help you put it together. Very pleased with this purchase.
This shipped fairly promptly to California and arrived as scheduled. The assembly instructions were extremely clear and easy to follow. It took about four hours to build and I'm satisfied with its sturdiness and convenience. The quality is very good. I don't know how well it will hold up, but it folds and unfolds nicely, rolls very smoothly, and seems stable and secure for play.
The table once constructed works fine and the kids had a great time on it. However, it took a few hours to get it set up. The particle board is quite thin and unless you have two people who really know what they are doing, you may end up pulling one of the legs out of the board and strip the particle board. This is extremely frustrating for a table that costs $169. We had to move the leg over a little bit so we can fasten the screws in a different place on the board. Luckily it seems to be ... holding fine. Another thing to watch out for is the secure latch that will keep the two ends up for storage. If you pull a bit without unlatching properly, it will strip through the board. Again, very frustrating. Good thing is that the table is still usable, with a quarter sized hole in the board near the net. We are currently using a bungee cord to close the table for storage since the latches won't work anymore after we tore through the particle board. Again, wish the material was not so cheap for something I paid $169 for.
we bought this table over the weekend, took it home and had it together in about 2 hours. wasn't difficult but the tools you "Should" use are not what's listed. first off, you'll do yourself a huge favor if you use a cordless drill instead of a scrrewdriver. also, a socket/ratchett with 7/16 AND a crescent wrench. be sure to lay everything out first and READ the directions first. I've read other reviews by folks that took HOURS to put it together. that's ridiculous. just read through the tech ... specs, lay everything out afterwards, and do exactly as it says. piece of cake. it's really a very sturdy table. we've played on it for hours now! folded it up and put it away, several times now. nothing is lose or needs retightened. I wouldn't recommend one of the cheaper tables. this is about the best one for the best price. as with anything, you get what you pay for. NO, it's not an industrial grade table that we would put in the rec center but it will certainly last for a long time in the family game room.
I surprised my hubby with this for Christmas. It took a while to assemble, but so far it has been a great table. Our family has had hours of fun. It is nice how it folds up. He even folds one portion up to do single person practice. Shipping and delivery was great. I recommend this product.
This Stiga Coronado Outdoor Table Tennis Table is sturdy and well-balanced. Two of our older sons used power tools (they recommend this) to assemble it. They had it up and were playing in fewer than 3 hours. They love it. A great Christmas gift for the family that will last through wet & dry outdoor weather and some rough play. The aluminum top is a great idea. Our last table warped, became what our sons called it their "Rocky Mountain Ping Pong Table. We live on the front range of these ... mountains, so its name was appropriate The play was bizarre We are happy to have a table that will last
This is an excellent table that was easy to put together if you use power tools (drill). We were looking for an outdoor table that we roll into our garage after use. This is very easy to fold up and roll out. The only issue is it looks like the table top is black (which is what I wanted) in the picture. It arrived as a blue table top.
I bought this table and assembly was challenging. The support tubes are not designed very well as they are interchangeable and the the plastic washers hang up on the hinges on two of them. Contacted customer service thinking they sent the wrong tubes and received a very uncaring and uninterested individual. Modified it myself and works ok. The table is a good value other than that. My opinion, table better than their customer service.
So Much Fun... well built! Great for competitive playing or just messing around.
