So we have had our pool for three summers. A big headache putting it together. Leveling the legs takes time. Needs pieces of wood under each leg for support. It will sink into the ground. Ground cloth is good only for a couple of summers. After it is completely up, I love it!!! Horrible to take down! Can't get all the water out! Just gonna winterize it this fall and leave it up. Too much work!
Plan to dig up grass. You will need to spray weed killer before placing tarp on ground. We placed stones under each leg and the pump. We left a foot of mulch between pool wall and grass. The cover provided will sink in the rain. You need to purchase net, vacuum, chlorine, and the chlorine floating dispenser. We take pool sample water to have tested. You need to clean pool filter every 48 hours by washing out with hose. Watch setup videos online. We use heavy duty extension cord. Cheaper than an ... inground pool but a lot of work to setup. Glad we did it. Looking for a solar cover to use in cool weather and we plan to leave pool up during winter.
1st review 24 hours later. My retired husband was able to put the pool up by himself by using some ropes each side to stabilize. He is a big guy and very OCD so I was glad I had to work. Took about 3 hours to fill up with water. It's the perfect size for an afternoon with or without kids. Ladder is exactly what we expected based on reviews. Don't let that part turn you away from an otherwise nice set up. If you want to spend the extra dollars on something more sturdy, read their reviews. Most ... say the same thing. If you have a handy guy like I do, he can arrange something more sturdy with a little tinkering. Will post again after we decide on chemicals vs saltwater system. We went to Farming in Iowa on YOUTube for the best info and tips. The guy was knowledgeable and straightforward
Product met all my expectations. Excellent price / value. Product is exactly as the description given. I will definitely recommend.
We purchased this pool June 16, 2017. Set it up and started to fill with water. Pool was about half full when we noticed water around several of the poles. It had a leak. Took it down and returned it to the store for an exchange. We put up the second pool and NO leaks this time. Would give it a higher rating but having to set up two pools due to a leak takes right out of the box takes away from a higher rating
This pool has been awesome.Im a 59 yr old grandma and I put it together myself! My 10 year old grandson loves it! And so do his friends. It has saved me money no pool expenses .He don't need or really want to go to the public pool.It hasn't been hard to maintain. It been a great summer don't know how we did without it. Will always have a pool now. We will probably get a larger one in a few years!!!
These pools were selling out fast at all of my local stores here in the 100+ degree heat in Texas. I had company coming in from out of state, and needed one for our outside family day. Thankfully, Academy had them online. Great price, cheap shipping, and arrived quick. Pool was easy to inflate with the $10 air pump we already had. It held its air even with rambunctious little ones going in and out. Held 4 adults comfortably. Drain plug was a plus. Easy to deflate, too. Well-made. Highly recommend.
To be honest this kid is not used by children. I have it in my grown up self's backyard to chill in. Nice solid sides are tall and sturdy enough for leaning. I always put a tarp underneath to prevent tears on bottom. Air holes kinda pop open sometimes, but generally I try to shove in hard so they don't. Love this pool would buy again.
This is a nice, small inflatable pool that worked out well for our little ones to play in, with a seat for a supervisor
The very first time I aired this up, there was already a hole in it. We have to constantly add air to it. But we also purchased the same one last year and had no problems. It's an okay pool for the price if you don't mind blowing it up before each use.
We have had this pool for SEVEN SUMMERS!!!!!!! It is still PERFECT, and we have never taken it down!!!! (Which they say you should do after every summer!!!). I have had to buy a new sand filter, but that is nothing compared to the enjoyment the pool as brought to our whole family!! Best bought item for our house in YEARS!!!
We've had this set up for about 2 weeks now. The picture is misgiving. The ground has to be very level and there's a lot more work involved than just setting up on the grass. Looked a lot of How-To's up on youtube for help. Sand filter is awesome. Just an FYI the set up instructions suck but their customer service is good so they will help.
My daughter loves this pool and how the gator sprays water. Also, love how it comes with accessories
I bought this three weeks ago. Took a lil over a week to get local store did not carry that size. But that was ok very professional delivery considering the size and weight of carton. they called and set uo delivery and were on time. Pool is fairly easy to set up and do make sure it is on level ground very important. Grandkids love it. Pump has small leak at gasket on lid will take apart and try to get it to seal or see if they will exchange. will let ya know
As soon as the pool was ready we have had nothing but rain and cooler weather so we really haven't had a chance to use it. I can say setting it up was a bit more challenging than I thought. It is just me and my adult daughter so I had to hire some help. The corner braces need to be a bit longer to allow for expansion.Other than that so far so good. I would recommend getting this deeper pool though, (52 compared to the 48) It does make it feel bigger, but there are only adults in my household.
lovong the pool the kids got up in it and they have been having a ball . i will love doing business at any time .
this was a good pool it held up for 2 summers my nephew loved it
