I bought this for my son's 3rd birthday party. The kids had a great time playing on it. The biggest downside is that the manufacturer does not stitch the slide all the way to the edge of each corner so it leaks air constantly. You need to run the motor the entire time (it's nice and quiet so it's not a huge deal) and also do your own Gorilla tape fix to the areas leaking. We decided to keep it because we did patch is and it's fine. The kids had a great time so we'll use it all summer it's just a ... bummer that you have to go through the hassel of patching and fixing it before you can enjoy. Great slide, great time, just give yourself time to set-up the first time so you can find the leaks and fix!
Both of our grandbabies received this slide as a birthday present and it was a huge hit with each. Our two year old little boy lives close to us and our six year old little girl lives an hour away. The slide is perfect for both and should last them for many years as the height and length of the slide is a good size plus the weight capacity accommodates weights up to 110 lbs. We have been told that these tear easily but with proper use, care, and storage when not in use, hopefully it will be ... durable and provide numerous years of fun. At this point we have several happy families and two excited, happy children.
This is a plus for the kids. Waste water coming down the slide which is smaller than I thought and it's annoying trying to get all the water out. But overall I would recommend this to anyone who has small children. I have a 9 year old and a 4 year old and I can't keep them out of it.
My kids played on this for hours at a friends birthday party and they loved it! We are now planning on getting one one his week as well. Great toy to have for our family.
I bought this water slide 3 and 1/2 yrs ago loved it. My son enjoyed it with several friends for a long time. The threads on the inside finally wore out and now nolonger stands up with even one kid on it. But the blower and water line are still in working condition. This is defiantly intended for younger kids. Around ages 2-7
Children thoroughly enjoy the product. A little challenging to drain and allow to dry completely before storing but overall pleased with purchase.
Had slide about a month. Been using it Friday, Saturday & Sunday in the Southern heat of 95+ degrees. Sometimes leave it up full of water and running over weekend. High volume air pump stays cool while running over extended periods. Wife and I use the slide along with our three and a half-year old. Do not recommend dogs unless smaller and nails buffed and rounded. Our Danes were running and jumping and at 155 lbs tore some small holes on bottom and sides but it doesn't effect performance. Slide ... could still be a little thicker but overall VERY satisfied with purchase. Beats the cost of a couple of trips to the water park or a family pass at the Y because you can use it again and again. Recommend deflating and emptying pool, then blowing up again to fully dry so crevices don't get mold, which simply scrubs off with a brush and water. Don't recommend anyone over 200 lbs on slide. Water cannons are great, lots of room for floaties, tunnel cool feature. Recommend using padding, like a floor mat of foam under landing areas for your tushy. Great product.
I have a banzai big curve i bought in 2009. It is finally not blowing up and staying up. kids under 50 lbs can use it. It was time for me to purchase a new slide! I did LOTS of research on various slides and watched videos of kids slide down all types of slide ( because the stupid pic on the box is photo-shopped). This slide is huge! I can hold me (150 lb adult) no problem. I had about 10 kids playing on it at one time form the age of 2-12. I was so nervous buying this slide because it has ... crazy varying reviews. I talked with the manager of my Academy and he said i could return it if there were problems. So i bought it and had it shipped to my house. We used it once and a seam ripped! It was right where the smaller slide meets the side bottom, the side wall and the yellow "floor" where you put your bottom down to sit to slide. I called the next day and returned it to the store, (they re-boxed it for me because i am not good at origami and you need to be to get this thing back in the box!!) and had a new one! I have used the new one once and there were no problems. I am going to use it a few more times before my 30 days is up. My only other complaint is that the picture of the slide on the box shows that there are 2 tiers of blue at the bottom of the slide to create the "pool" area. This is one of the key selling points that i was looking for in a slide. When i un-boxed it there was only one tier of blue and the slide pool fills up quickly ( in a couple hours). It fills up with water a LOT more than my other slide. You have to dry the slide completely before storing. We have to turn it upside-down for like 2 hours to let all the water inside the slide pool to one side and then pour out. They give you a "bag" that the slide is supposed to be stored in. We were able to get it in, but the second we lifted it up the bag ripped. We bought a 45 gallon tupperware thing to store it. I have also read that people have used a garbage can with wheels. It is like 65 lbs of dead-floppy weight! please ask me if you have any questions!
This slide is 'amazing' as per my granddaughter, who is 6! She absolutely has a great time on it and summer has not even started. I, myself went down it 3 times so far, and it's great, I can see us having a great time on it this summer and her baby brother who is soon to be one, also already loves it! He's crawling around in the little pool area! It is sturdy and lots of FUN! Amazing!
