I have 6 handguns and I use Aquila ammo in all of them . This 124 grain shoots exceptional in my glock 17 and s&w shield. I have tried several brands but always come back to Aquila.
Bought these to compare to the normal target ammo I use. Each shot with these had a bit more snap and hit closer to where I was aiming. I put 3 into a 1" target at 21' with my M&P 9. I like them.
I use this in my S&W Bodyguard 380, without any hickups. Shoots great, very accurate, and it also shoots very clean.
Pure perfection. No failures. As good as it gets. Very hard hitting and works every time which is unusual for 380 ammo.
I know there are some out there that says this round is obsolete, over rated or that it doesn't even work as advertised. Well I am here to tell you that I have used this particular ammunition since the early 1990's as a law enforcement officer as well as my brother officers and it has ALWAYS preformed flawlessly in anything it's been used in and as directed. If we didn't believe in it.... Believe me when I say, we'd not trust our lives to it daily! In fact I recently used it to shoot a coyote ... out of my Hk USP and WOW! is all I can say.
This is my choice for winter because of its ability to penetrate heavy clothing, then expand. In summer, when clothing is lighter, I chose a simpler JHP. I even had the fixed sights on my Kimber replaced so Hydra-Shoks shoot to point of aim at 25 yards for me.
This SIG's performance of a 10MM 180 grain at @1250 FPS is AWSOME!!! It's a hair line shy of the original Norma Specs of 1300 FPS. So far, 200 rounds and I haven't experienced a failure with this ammo in my RIA 1911 A2 16rd. Consistent in every shot. A while back, they were on sale for $20 and had I known the quality; I would have bought out the store but Academy Sports had ran out and for good reason.
Pushing 180 grains at @1250 FPS is what the 10MM is all about. I haven't experienced single failure with this ammo in my Smith, even with the Up-Powered recoil spring. Each round feels and sounds consistent, one right after another. And the price at $27 a box is competitive as all get out. This ammo is so good and priced so well, it literally makes me wonder why every other 10MM ammo is $10 buck a box more and/or doesn't perform nearly as well. I've owned this caliber for 15 years and this is ... the best over-the-counter ammo I've found. If there is a downside to it, there is a significant flash. That being said, this is practice/training ammo and not S/D Ammo, so that's really kind of irrelevant (But it attracts attention at the range...)
Good quality ammunition, fair price and always great service from Academy.
This ammo is quality. How can you go wrong with Winchester ammo? This ammo comes at a great price'
This ammo has some high power. I have shot at gun ranges, but mostly outdoors fields and woods. Shooting out of the gun range I find this ammo ricocheting easy.
Ammo is super clean and accurate. Price is great! 300 round for $89.
Service was great as promised and on time. Was very happy to receive a quality product.
With Barnes and Buffalo Bore you cannot go wrong! If you can afford it, it is a GREAT combination for hunting. Buffalo Bore fully loads the cartridge, unlike some manufacturers, you will get great velocities. Barnes all copper rounds are phenomenal expanders, that yield excellent penetration.
I bought this .44 mag ammo based on past positive experience with Buffalo Bore ammo. Again, they did not disappoint. This round is well designed with a 180 grain medium cast lead hollow point for rapid mushrooming at a higher velocity. This "lower weight" bullet also mitigates recoil and allows for faster follow-up shots. It is the perfect balance of speed, mass and expansion. Buffalo Bore definitely did their homework when they thought out this loading.
This website is Great for purchasing your ammunition and sporting goods. I purchased many boxes of ammunition, as well as other necessities and the process and especially the Price has been the key factor in future purchases. Plus, when other sites are out of stock, AS&O usually has it. Shipping is quite fair s well. bambamsherwood.com locomofo.com
Order the mega pack. After hundreds of rounds I had no jams.
Just purchaseda week ago to shoot in my1935 beretta not one jam. Excellent and accurate. Will be buying more.
Purchased and fired in both a .38+P revolver and a .357 mag revolver and shot very well in both. It's a round that could be carried with great confidence as PD for your CC or your home protection handgun, either .38 or .357.
I bought this strictly for personal defense. Great accuracy, hard hitting ammo. I would recommend this ammo for personal defense in your CCW weapon.
Never had gotten any Buffalo Bore oreviously but got a good deal on it. Pricey but certainly has the velicity & punch of my favorite premium ammo. I would buy it again if I needed to.
Short and and sweet. A sales associate ordered this for me from a store. It was supposed to arrive in two weeks; four days later I had it. Thanks.
Real smooth shells. Have no problem staying on target.
In my 5.5 inch Ruger Redhawk, these rounds kick HARD, but they're manageable with rubber pachmayr grips. I'm very confident in these +p+ .44 magnums for protection against grizzly, wolf, and aggressive bull moose while out in the northern Rocky Mountain wilderness. I've shot 3 boxes so far and haven't experienced any jump-crimp. (That's more reliable than other heavy, hot +p .44 magnum loads I've tried.) This is the biggest bang for your .44 magnum buck. Highly recommended. Will be buying more.
About 2 yrs ago I got, what I thought was, a pretty good deal on an exc. cond. S&W 6906. It came with 3 factory mags. & a molded leather DeSantis holster for $350. When I finally took it to the range I got about 10% failure to extract. The empty would come about ¼" out of the chamber & the next live round would jam against it. I tried all 3 mags. & 5 brands of ammo. (I have several 9mm handguns) with the same results. All the ammo was 115 gr. I started thinking about it & thought maybe a ... heavier bullet with more recoil & ME might help. Bought a box of the Fiocchi 147 gr., fired all 50 rounds without a hiccup. Will be ordering more. It's a bit more expensive but, hey, it makes the pistol more reliable.
Bought online at a great price ! Very fast shipping and good packaging ! Thanks !
This ammo is great, most 44 Magnum ammo is jacketed hollow point, I wanted full metal jacket, very happy with the ammo! I have gone through a whole box now shooting it with my Taurus Tracker with no issues or any misfires. I recommend it to anyone and thank you so much Academy Sports for the great prices!
I have been buying ammo for a while now and I can say academy is one great company. fast shipping and good prices..
I purchased ammunition online and it was one of the easiest simplest transactions that I have completed! I received free shipping which is super savings, I will make more purchases in this fashion.
