decent pair of comfortable water proof boots.
there okay. very comfortable, keep my feet very warm when it's cold and when I'm in cold water. and they have a nice hight. but I'm outdoors and in the swamps and small creeks very often and since I go through many thorns and occasionally barbed wire, the boots attend to rip very easily, I did patch them back up but they are a good buy if you would use them occasionally and not go through barbed wire and thorns or anything els that could rip or puncture them easily. because they are delicate ... read more when it's comes to tearing.

    Very Warm
Bought these boot a instead of the big brand...sounds like "duck", hoping they would be somewhat comparable, well...they are.  So far so good.  I have hauled wood in them, been in water with them and my feet stay warm and dry.  Bought a pair for both my boys and the wife.  Only thing is I wished they came with a harder toe...firewood  Would definitely recommend.

    Awesome boots
Had these about a month. Has great features, love the option to zipper them up then lace them up and then never have to lace up again. Are good looking enough to wear out as every day wear with the leather foot ,which I have done. They are water proof, been in over ankle and feet dry. Very comfortable , very little break in needed. Recommend getting half size larger for fall thicker sock weather. Copper head struck foot and the boot gave total protection, lives up to name of snake defender. ... read more These boots are highly recommended for fit, style ,price, looks, and good protection

    Safety confirmed
These are truly life savers. While deer hunting I stepped on a large copperhead in thick grass it then tried to sink its fangs in the top of my new boots. Other than the small heart attack there wasn't even a mark on the boot.

    Great Boot Wierd Smell
First I had a hard time finding larger boots. I wear a size 15 but the 14 in these fit well enough to buy. They are great boots, fairly comfortable. I have the full front lace and love the sense of protection. But there is a weird sweet smell that the boot puts off. It can smell up a room. I have aired them out for about 3 months now when not in use but the still smell sweet like the day they came out the box. Anyone else have this issue? Please rate if you do.

    Great Boots
To the person who reviewed about the wierd smell i really havent noticed a smell to them. These are great boots, waterproof up to where the tongue stops. Aggressive tread. The day after i got these boots i walked in my backyard and stepped in the creek to test them and they worked great. the hooks around the ankel that the laces go in make the boot snug to your feet and when you go to take them off you just unhook the lace to make it easier to slip off the boot. Overall great boot.

    Noisey Shoes
This shoes is great in its own way just like the other reviewers have stated. However, please be advice that it's only great for walking along a clean path. If you walk into the forest its got no grip on the leaves and no grip while walking down an incline with gravels. On the other hand, you can make something of it on the leaves when walking uphill bound but it takes too much work. Overall, these boots are comfortable and great all around, but it is not cut-out to handle all the terrain the ... read more forest has to offer; it's a great boot for hiking but not hunting.

I hike out in the woods and pasture grasses daily for an hour. After about 4 days with heavy dew and one day with rain they were leaking. I'm talkin' socks were soaked in the ball of foot and toes area. And no, i didn't encounter any puddles. The whole reason i bought these was because they said "waterproof." I put an outdoor water proofer on them to see if that will help fix the problem. Also, the fabric has came loose from the boot in some areas where it was glued down to the shoe. The boot is ... read more comfortable and fits nicely, but they should have left the "waterproof" part OFF and also used a better glue to glue the fabric down. Just lettin' ya know before ya buy...

    Good Boot for price
I bought these for my son this year.  They keep his feet warm and dry.  The only drawback are the tips of these boots are wearing thin and will not be serviceable for much longer.  The good news is that they are inexpensive!

    they are water resistant
I bought this a month ago for my grandson and he loved them, and when my husband saw them he wanted a pair. So my husband ended up getting some Acacademy gift for xmas and bought him a pair also.

    Good boot, runs large.
The boot is well constructed and comfortable. However, it runs a bit large. I usually were a size 13 EE but had to go down to an 11.5 EE to get these to fit correctly.

I love the muck brand, but hey missed it with these boots. They are too tight around my ankles and too loose around my legs.

awesome boot!!! for a great price!!!
I bought these on clearance at Academy here in Texas. and they are hot, but all snake boots are going to be hot people!!! haha Having to zip them up AND lace them Is kinda a pain. but I knew this going into the purchase! I have pretty large calves for a girl, so that is a must do no matter what! over all I am very happy with my purchase! and would def recommend them to a friend!!

    Nice Comfort. Great Durability.
I actually just purchased these boots this morning and already love them. It is the first pair of snake boots I have owned. I wasn't sure if I would like them being so tall at first but after I have been wearing them I don't mind it at all. This product is a great buy for them not being to expensive. I will defiantly put them to use since deer season is right around the corner. Good luck with your Game Winner snake boots also.

    Really nice boot
This is a really nice boot comfortable to wear all day and I took them out after heavy rains in my area, ended up stepping in a creek bed that just sucked my foot down into really nasty smelling mud and I thought that when I pull my foot out it was going to be covered in mud. The mud slid right off of the boot which was really nice. Wish they mad these in half sizes though, the boot is slightly to big for me and the next size down is to small :( but I put a additional pair of inserts into them ... read more and they fit alright now. Also had to wade out to the edge of a pond and was almost to the top of the boots in water, not one drop made it to my feet. NOT a bad pair of boots for the money

    Under armour boots
I recently bought a pair. They are very light and pretty comfortable. Negative side the first creek I stepped in my feet got wet . They seem to not be put together well at the toe. Should have kept my receipt. Learned my lesson the pretty logo on the front won't keep your feet dry.

    Poor design!
I bought these boots 2 months ago and have only wore them once, but I can already tell there is a flaw in the design. The boot itself looks like most rubber boots out there, but right at the ankle, where the rubber meets the actual foot part of the boot, right where it bends, that will dig right into your ankle and leave blisters while walking through the woods. They need extra support past the ankle. Mines will go right in the chipper. I'll just consider these a loss.
