just got this a week ago and is just awesome I use it for bench press, squats, pull ups, leg/knee raises and much more, easy to put together by your self, the one thing is that if you are tall it might not be to good for you as far as pull ups, I am 5 feet 2in but if I was 5 5in I would not buy this to do pull ups.
Bought this for my husband as a Christmas present, he put it together in under an hour, no issues. He was looking for something simple yet effective for his lifting workouts he wanted to start doing in our home gym and this fits the bill. Eventually we'd like to get a large cage but for now we'll make good use of this. I feel like the price I paid was a good deal. Very sturdy. Like to do pull-ups on it but we don't use the bar at bottom for push-ups simply because we have it pushed up against ... one wall. We have our own bench that we just move in and out and a 7ft bar that fits nicely. Definitely a great buy!
I bought these for my husband he loves them! The only complain he that they stain our gym walls, but they are still very comfortable gloves and provide great support for weightlifting.
Provides excellent grip on the weights and weight bars. Also provides wrist support to remove stress off of wrist and prevent possible injuries.
I bought one of these about 6 years ago and it has been used almost daily. It was easy to put together and even as much as it has been used it has been trouble free. I have bought a lot of exercise equipment in the past 40 years, and this has easily been the highest quality piece that I have ever owned I started my 19 yr. old son working out on this right after I got it. I don't really use it anymore because of age and injuries. He will probably be able to take it with him when he decides to ... go on his own. The first piece of workout equipment of heirloom quality that I've ever heard of. ;)
Not sure about total time to put together as I did it a little at a time. Instructions indicate you need 2-3 people to do this. However, I was easily able to do it by myself. There were a couple of glitches putting it together, mainly because the enclosed instruction manual missed a step or two and didn't always indicate which bolts to use. So there was some trial and error. You absolutely have to install the cables at same time you install each wheel. At first I figured I'd install ... the wheels and then thread the cables. Oops. Cables won't fix in openings. Had to take off wheels and start over. Biggest issue, which Marcy Tech Support says happens sometimes is an alignment problem with arms (items 9 and 10) Each has two sleeves in which you insert item 39 (spindle/axel). However, the sleeves weren't installed by the factory correctly so the axels wouldn't go all the way through. Can't use it until that is corrected. Tech support was real easy to deal with in that they immediately sent out replacement ones. In the meantime, I took another look at the arms. Visually I could see the sleeves were crooked. I took a rubber mallet to all 4 (each arm has 2). Surprisingly, this worked. I even called Marcy to tell them the fix (which I think they should have already known and told me). They said replacement arms had already been shipped and to simply keep them as spars down the road. Use of the machine is quite easy. Don't forget to lubricate the wheels and rods with either Silicone or WD-40.
I bought the GoFit Rubber Resistance handles to attach to my treadmill so that I would have something to hold on to that was a greater distance from the arms that extend from the treadmill. I have made it work for me by attaching another sturdy strap around the existing arms, then attaching the GoFit Rubber Resistance handles to that sturdy strap. It is working well, not a perfect solution to what I was trying to accomplish, but a working one.
We like the handles and can use them with several of our workouts
These gloves have been comfortable and tough so far. I am happy with them and would buy them again if they last as long as I hope they do.
They fit pretty good I really like them you should buy them.

Great product I would recommend to a friend sturdy
I use these safety brackets every time I lift weights. This device protects from falling weights while lifting. I recommend anyone who lift with barbells to purchase this product because it is a must need for safety and comfort reasons
It's a basic set so there isn't much to say except I'd recommend them to anyone looking for real workout gear....
Great company to deal with. Item was exactly as described. Shipping was fast and when the item was received it was very good quality, exactly what I needed.
Great for curls and squats, am very satisfied with product overall.
using this barbell for a multitude of exercise including leap squats
love the 3/4 extra length in the fingers. However the cushioning needs to extend from the cushion on the palm to the cushion on the fingers. There's about a one inch area with no cushioning where it just so happens the barbell often sits on your hand
Works great for heavy lifting. Great fit and grip for barbells.
Very light weight. Needs better collars. Had one slip on me
