The product was well-made and substantial, not a cheaply done effort.

Bought these boots for cold weather to be able to wade out in our lake far enough to put in my paddleboard (fin about 10 inches long). They are lightweight and flexible--knees don't get wet when I initially kneel on board to launch--also great for kayaking in the late fall/early winter when I have to wade out in water to launch. Heavy enough to repel water but light enough to move/bend. Works great for me. Probably not heavy duty enough to last if you use for removing piers, shore stations or if ... there are lots of rocks or anything in water that is abrasive.
