Since I wasn't sure if a treadmill was something I would enjoy using, I didn't want to invest $500.00 or more. For me, a novice runner, it's great! There are enough features (10 programs and speed 1-10 mph) to keep me challenged. I am extremely pleased and would definitely recommend this treadmill to anyone. The only small complaint I have is that it's a little noisy at times. That may be perfectly normal, but coming from an elliptical that was very quiet, it is something I notice.
Perfect for those who only want to walk fast. Do not get if you are a heavy duty jogger or runner. Assembles real easy.
I have been shopping around for a treadmill for a while. It seems like they are either cheap and really feel it, or way over my price range to have a good quality one. This was a middle of the road price point and totally worth it. I have no problem doing 3-4 miles with no issues. The lift feature works well. The fan is not so great and blows right on your groin area. This was solved by having a normal fan next to the treadmill. Not super quiet but not super loud either. A nice, middle of the ... road treadmill. NO regrets about the purchase.
Bought it 2 months ago and works great. I am moderately mechanically inclined so it was easy to put together. Definitely a 2 man job though. It's quiet, I make more noise walking than the machine does running. Smooth transition from different levels. I love my treadmill!
I decided to try this manual treadmill because I could not take the continuous movement and vibration of electronic treadmills with my knee problems. I was absolutely amazed at how easily the belt moved and loved this unit from the moment I started walking on it. Assembly was very easy and accomplished quickly. It is very well made and perfect for my needs. I could not be more pleased with this unit.
I bout the treadmill because it had 4.5 stars. It would be a good treadmill for walking, can run on it, if the belt wouldn't move so much.
I had a problem with my treadmill not inclining and Daniel the customer service representative was very kind and swiftly took care of my problem for me. Even sent me emails to stay up to date as I'm a busy person and can't always answer my phone. Even though I had a problem with the treadmill at least I don't have to worry na out getting it fixed. Daniel took care of all of it for me.
We have only had it for a couple of weeks, but it is easy to use and better than walking outside in the elements. It motivates me to walk first thing in the morning, immediately after I wake up!
When not in use the tread path lifts out of the way to reduce from 61" to about a 30 square inch space ... gas piston assist with easy-to-use lock/unlock. Very sturdy/stable for larger dude (6'2" 350 lbs). Takes some determination to get a rhythm, but works well once you get it going. Difficult to get out of the box and assemble alone. Very heavy for one person. The primary wheels that would help move it are part of the assembly process. DOES NOT fit through standard doorways when assembled - ... including front wheels ... definitely get a strong friend to help or purchase an installer (ever built a crib that you could get into the nursery ... same here ;) ).
I bought this about 3 weeks ago and overall I'm pretty happy. Installation was moderate difficulty with 2 people. Preset programs are good. Have not tried iFit because you have to pay for the membership.
I did a ton of online research to try to find the best treadmill for my in-home use. I use it daily and run/walk at least 3 miles each day. This treadmill has been incredible! I haven't had it very long yet but it's comfortable and well-cushioned. It took my husband about two hours to put it together (though we had to have a neighbor come help move it as the bottom piece is VERY heavy) and it has been a dream! The fans are such a pleasant bonus. I wasn't looking for a treadmill that had them, ... but I am SO glad that it does! I have not used the iFit compatible portion of the treadmill as I am not an iFit subscriber and really don't know what all is involved. I wear head phones the entire time I'm running but my husband said this treadmill is not loud at all, and the cushion in it makes for a very smooth run. I couldn't be happier.
Love everything about this treadmill! So very happy with our purchase!
I was surprised at the quality and sturdy construction of this desk treadmill. I've used it many times and find that everything is working. I really like the controls on the side handles that allow me to speed up or down and raise and lower the incline.
This would make you feel that you were using your time effectively!
I live too far away to go to the park or gym anymore and needed a safe way to work out. Im a female and do not feel safe walking by myself on the state park trails. I ordered this treadmill and am beyond happy I did. It was nerve wracking picking the right one becuase I wanted to get it right the first time (that's a lot of money to just order sight unseen off the Internet). It has just the right features and works my butt out! I would reccommend to anyone. Thanks!!!! :)
I bought the treadmill about a month ago and use it daily. Very well built and lots of different workouts can be done. Worth the money.
Excellent Treadmill One Of The Best Ever For Working Out
Haven't been able to use it yet due to the "uphill" feature
I love the auto Incline in the workout program. I would not use the i fit but if you want to pay 39.99 a month to use it go ahead. .
Treadmill works perfectly. I will recommend this to friends and family
I bought a month ago and I am really glad I did. Then delivery and service was great. I had to cancel my first order and it was no problem and Academy gave me complete refund. The installation man was awesome.
We've been using this several weeks now and we have been very satisfied
I've had this treadmill for about a month. Overall I love it. It has great features and looks very nice as well. It pretty much covers everything I wanted. The only downside is its heavy. I wanted to move it to another location and it took my daughter and I having to push it in stages. Also I think the fan could be better. I'm short (5'1") and it don't quite hit me just right. Other than those things it gets the job done!
