I use the five inch for pike and walleyes. Swims good the fish like them even if the eyes fall off
This is my "Go To Bait" when fishing my farm ponds. Between two ponds, we have to catch 500lbs of bass that weigh less than 3lbs each, and this is the product I use to do it. Great for catching those smaller fish, but have also caught a 6lb on one. This little bait works when nothing else will. I use the smallest ones and fish them in 4 inches of water to 10 ft.
I've been fishing over fifty years and this is the hottest soft plastic bait I ever used. Just cast it near cover and slowly retrieve and the strikes come on almost every cast. Catches more 2-4 lb bass than anything I've ever tried
I bought this bait a week ago after having tried them in the store I was amazed at the action of it great bait for any occasion
I'm a fishing guide out of south Texas and I use lures only. This lure acts just like a shad and fish just love it
When I can't get live bait I use Gulp baits with my clients. I was surprised to find Academy's online price cheaper than all the rest. Thanks
These are the only artificial bait I buy. I've been on the same boat as people using live shrimp, and not even have a bite. I'll throw a Gulp Shrimp out, and be pulling them in left and right! Plus, they're durable, so I can catch a fish, and throw the same Gulp right back out! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My husband and I are avid saltwater fishermen. We can always rely on Gulp! Shrimp to get the job done. Realistic and obviously appealing to several different species of fish. No other brand performs better! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I've been using the black or black and blue Grass Pig bait for a little while now, and love it! I've rigged it weightless, weighted, as trailer and my favorite method on swinging jig heads. Its a larger presentation than a standard worm and i can feel the action of the swimbait tail. Nice work! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love this lure, Pearl White and Watermelon Candy is my favorite. You can run them slow a long the bottom in the summertime and it never changes the action of the bait. Caught a lot of big fish on the Grass Pig and it takes a lot to shred these lures they are the longest lasting soft plastic baits I own.
I fish the Dularge area a lot and this year this is all the speckled trout want. Matrix Shad Magneto. The last six times I went fishing I only used the Matrix Shad Magneto and limited out each time. This bait works great.
I've been using Matrix shad for over a year now on the Georgia Coast and it is the best paddle tail lure I've used and I've used them all. It has great tail action, is very tough, and very effective for trout, flounder and reds on the GA coast. My most productive colors are green hornet, lemon head, ultraviolet, and midnight express. I used it this afternoon and caught 11 trout on one green hornet lure and it's still fully functional for continued use.
Wade fishing, I use the plastic shrimp with a click slider float. On the sand bottom flats of upper Pensacola Bay I caught red drum in April and wading the grass flats of the Intercoastal Waterway speckled trout in May/June 2014. I haven't tried other colors, onkly the "natural" w/ gold flakes. Each outing, I start with a gold spoon, then use a MirroLure plug but never get any hits on those. I always catch everything on the H&H shrimp. The shrimp is on a woven leader 2.5 feet behind the click ... rattle float. The combined weight gives me a casting distance of 50 crank distances downwind (about 100 feet).
Red Fish killer. Nothing but Zman in my boat for me. Here's the proof.
have several fat boy lures. great action, trout and reds both can't resist
Have caught many keeper sea trout on this Lure......excellent buy !
I have purchased these in the past at the Academy in Palm Bay and they worked great on Reds and Trout in the Indian River. Just tried them here in Maryland and the Stripers love them also!
I started throwing these about a year ago and they are my go to for crappie, and sometimes even catch bluegill and bass! They flat out catch fish. Sometimes you need to slow down or speed up your reeling speed but there are no fancy movements in retrieving this bait. The salt and pepper is my go to confidence bait and have never gone home empty handed when throwing one of these bad boys.
These are awesome Crappie baits. Takes very little movement and even a slow retrieve will get the curly tail spinning like crazy. Caught my personal best Black Crappie and White Crappie on these. Order any color as long as it has Chartreuse in it
I like mixing Vortex and Matrix for the best results on specks and flounder. The Vortex tail action is unmatched and works great with the unpainted H&H Round Red Eye 1/4 ounce Jig Heads. Lemonhead(chartreuse), Natural, and black/chartreuse are the best colors we've found on the MS Coast.
Smooth transaction!! Fast shipping!!!! All good!!!!!
GrandeBass mega tail worms have become a major part of my tournament arsenal. I always have a Texas Rig tied on with one of these worms, give them a try and you will understand why.
The "Big Minno" is a great bait for experienced and novice anglers alike. It is easy to use and very versatile. It can be rigged with a jig head in the traditional manner or where it is weedless. You can also Texas rig it with no weight. This soft bait has a large presence in the water and will catch fish that ignore smaller offerings. If I could only have one soft plastic bait for fishing the flats, this would be it.
I have several fishing experiences with the strike king cut r worm. Great bait...great action. Would be nice to see green pumpkin/pearl color show up on the shelves..best color ever.
This bait is deadly in and around grass. I love it
bought these and ordered some more this i 1 of my go to baits for saclat
very competitive prices, and all the latest lures, fast shipping, user friendly web-site
I bought the H20 soft plastics a while ago when several were on sale. I have been very impressed with the product. For me, it has out fished all my other plastics, except Gulp. The rattle in there seems to turn the flounder on. I recommend these to anyone looking for soft plastics. FYI - Academy is my Mecca.
I love use useing these frogs! They run great on the water .
Caught nice bass on the very first cast. Will keep fishing the frog for some time.
