I have purchased numerous mullets in pints or bags. Very pleased. But the last order of chartreuse mullets seems like they didn't add enough hardliner this batch tears to easy. I've had a few pints of different colors with the same problem.
Have to agree with other reviews. 4" alive mullet on bucktaol jig head will land you sea bass and flounder. I only wish the sea robins didn't like them. I fish them from boat, shore/beach, and kayak here in RI. Have equal luck with the white and chatruesse colors, and they have out performed squid strips.
This is my go to craw trailer I use when I throw jigs! Have great action in the water. I've caught some toads with this bait as a trailer.
I gave these a try an instantly started catching more quality bass. They definitely work! They're soft so the bass hang on and don't let go. However, they're so soft they tear up too easily. I can easily go through 10 or more each day, more with bluegill and perch tearing off the claws. Sure wish they sold larger quantity bags. I like the pumpkin seed color, but green fleck seems out of place. Black, red, or orange fleck would be more natural craw-like.
used gulp shrimp on fluke here in Jersey since it came out in the surf using 2 in tanem on dropper loops with bucktail on the bottom of leader DEADLEY 4inch are the best been surf fishing over 50yrs use 6inch swimming mullet on bucktail 1ounce
Bottom line they catch fish! I use them year round!
I've been using the black or black and blue Grass Pig bait for a little while now, and love it! I've rigged it weightless, weighted, as trailer and my favorite method on swinging jig heads. Its a larger presentation than a standard worm and i can feel the action of the swimbait tail. Nice work! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I purchased these a while ago and thought they were okay; but really didn't use them a whole lot. But now I have found a permanent use for them and love them. I use the 3-1/2 Jr. version as a trailer for my Chatterbaits and Swim Jigs. With either the 1/4 oz. mini chatterbait or a 1/4 oz. swim jig the size on these is perfect and the additional action it provides is unmatched and the price is certainly perfect as well. These hold up very well; I can get away with using only one or two of these ... per trip out on the water. Durability is A+; colors are perfect; the action is awesome and the price is "CHEAP". Do yourself a favor and start throwing these as a trailer.
I could not get the hang of bass fishing with plastic worms. Then along came the Zoom line of soft plastics. Now I strictly fish with Zoom lizards and Brush hogs. They practically fish themselves. I don't even use a weight most of the time. I wish they came in packages of twenty, but nine will just have to do.
I bought several packs of the watermelon/red lizards before my trip to Lake El Salto Mexico. My first half day I caught 66 bass and the biggest was 8 lbs 15 oz. The second day I caught 116 bass. Most of these came on the Carolina Rigged 8" magnum lizard.
Which is better than not catching any fish per worm. And they do catch fish. Now, when one knows which color to order, and Academy has them, and they deliver them at a decent price, there is not much more one can expect. So, the really important thing, the thing I probably can't talk about due to some PC policy is that if you were buying something else, something that you weren't absolutely sure that you were buying, Academy has a return policy that is better by far than another big box store ... who runs ads and the initials sound like a major manufacturer of automobiles. Worms? Probably not a big deal. Electronics.......trust me.........BIG deal. Bottom line: Academy +1; Zoom +1
Academy has always exceeded my expectations. These zoom worms were offered at a killer price and the shipping was immediate.
I bought the H20 soft plastics a while ago when several were on sale. I have been very impressed with the product. For me, it has out fished all my other plastics, except Gulp. The rattle in there seems to turn the flounder on. I recommend these to anyone looking for soft plastics. FYI - Academy is my Mecca.
Brought this and didn't ever use it till last month and im glad i did. Used it out on a lake during my tournament and caught me more then 15 fish but they rip kinda fast so buy alot
Last year the fish loved this bait. Buy a bunch though because the down fall is they don't hold up that well. But for the price big bite puts them out at why not buy bunch.
From Peacock bass to Largemouth bass the money minnow is irresistible when the bites are tough.
excellent bait, works great on a drop shot, have used watermelon red and albino colors
I love these grandebass rattlesnakes. I use the 4.75 for all of my texas rigs and I use the 3.75 baby rattlesnakes for my Carolina rigs and on drop shots and shakey heads and they work great
Tried this in a late winter tournament on bass that where just mouthing the baits and it drew a more complete bite. Also seemed to work well in stained conditions.
Prompt and accurate. Thank you. I've had good success with trout magnets.
I use these baits for all sorts of fishing. I have caught crappie, perch, white bass and largemouth on these baits. Great price for a great product. Will be buying more.
The action of the Provoker drives trout, redfish and flounder wild. It is the only soft bait in my tackle box now. MirrOlure hit another home run.
One of the best lures on the market, for a great price.
I use this as a trailer for my Spinner bait. The pearl white twin tail that follows a chartreuse and white skirt are a great combo. Drive fish CRAZY
What a great bait! we've have caught many great bass, bluegill, and catfish using this storm (2", bluegill color), primarily in farm ponds. Couldn't be happier with it.
I bought this about a week ago and it works great. Best lure I've used!
Fished on a weighted 3/0 swimbait hook in the small lake, caught every keeper bass on the pearl color. Usually fish a ripple shad but the weed over growth was too much and the grass big went to work!
I use these on an alabama rig as the middlwe bait.
I like all zoom soft plastics. You cant go wrong with zoom and with academy prices. I stock up every time they go on sale.
Took them out first time and they caught fish, enough said.
