I first bought this bait five.years ago while.on TDY to Washington (state). I brought it back tp Hawaii and tried it out on the peacock bass we have here. I was not surprised at how well it worked. I have since tried it out on the umbrella rigs that I use and they work equally as well. When I saw that they were on clearance, I bought 100 bags because I am afraid that you will be discontinuing the bait. I will use this feedback form to request the continuance of this bait (in the 2" ... size). Respectfully, Paul Lacerdo
5" and 6" Powerbait Swim Shads are one of my go-to baits for catching big landlocked stripers. Hooks are sharp and baits are durable. The eyes are not always glued on good and you will lose them sometimes. I really hate to see the 5" and 6" models discontinued. C'mon Berkley, bring them back!
I've been fishing over fifty years and this is the hottest soft plastic bait I ever used. Just cast it near cover and slowly retrieve and the strikes come on almost every cast. Catches more 2-4 lb bass than anything I've ever tried
i bought this bait when it first hit the shelves and i can catch bass on it all day long. Once i cought 17 bass on it in one hour in the saphire blue color, i also continue to catch bass on it till this day. its my favorite bait to use cause you can pitch it or flip it anywhere matted grass, weeds, rocks, stumps, trees, and lilly pads. best bait on the market
I've been using this lure for bass and it's been a fishing catching bait, try is you can't go wrong.
I've used these for 5 years now. Have too many colors. But they all seem to work and I keep buying more! I rig them on 1/0 or 2/0 EWG hooks, Texas rigged, with 1/16 oz or 1/18 oz slip sinker depending upon current. I like the magic or candy blends the most. Recently tried the sprayed grass with good success.
Bobby Garland 2" Baby Shad LOVE THIS BAIT AAAAA+++++
a man gave us this one day on the lake while we were not catching nothing . well he gave us these things in the electric chicken color. we wore them crappie out!!!!!! we also caught some catfish off of them too
This lure is awesome. The bass love it and take it quite readily if they are feeding. The only drawback, is that you had better have several.....they tear up pretty easy. If you get into them like I did, you can go through them. I was lucky to get more than 1 fish with each one. Great lure though.
Hands down one of the best soft plastic baits on the market. I use this bait for everything. Whether I'm flipping for largemouth or casting for smallmouth off a rocky point, the Chigger Craw gets the job done.
I bought these thinking they wouldn't work, I just put them on my wifes bream buster so I could do some bass fishing uninterrupted. Boy was I wrong!!!! They work as good as live crickets, only difference is she will bait her own hook now,,, I still have to keep taking the fish off for her but it is fun!!!
So my 4 year old daughter wanted to get these because she liked how they looked in the jar. We were going out for panfish/to have some fun. Normally I have bad luck with plastics on the lake because I suspect it is overfished... Live bait works just fine. Well I had these crickets and wax worms. I was surprised to see these crickets worked just as well as the wax worms. I will buy more varieties of this bait in the future. Joe, Cedar Rapids, IA
Can never go wrong chunking a Devil Jerk at these yellow mouth and Rubber lips. They go crazy for their action and slow suspending behavior. Its a must have in any fishermen s tackle box
I'm a big fan of the Paul Brown lures but this one is my favorite. You basically "walk the dog" a few inches below the surface.
From Peacock bass to Largemouth bass the money minnow is irresistible when the bites are tough.
I've been fishing under the lights at south padre island, arroyo city and port mansfield Texas. The simple fact that these lures are small, paddle tail and glow in the dark make them a threat to trout. All I do is cast far, reel high and fast. As soon as the lure hits the light stop and lower the rod tip. The fish get it on the drop. If not, count to three and again reel high and fast. then let it drop again. I use a d shock 6 1/2' spinning combo with 10 lb stren clear blue. Enjoy!
The go to rig for catching Trout and some times Redfish. Great product
These baits mimic a pogy or shad. With the Procure scent Flounder can't resist when worked slow.
Ordered plastic baits got them in quick order Just what I ordered
I buy this bait over and over again, catches lots of fish and sells at a good price.
Bought this to try out in a pond, fished for about an hour and had 4, 3lb+ bass, a handful of pearch and 2 crappie. Purple and blue sparkle is the ticket where I fish.
I bought this lure a month ago. Awesome soft plastic bait
Wade fishing, I use the plastic shrimp with a click slider float. On the sand bottom flats of upper Pensacola Bay I caught red drum in April and wading the grass flats of the Intercoastal Waterway speckled trout in May/June 2014. I haven't tried other colors, onkly the "natural" w/ gold flakes. Each outing, I start with a gold spoon, then use a MirroLure plug but never get any hits on those. I always catch everything on the H&H shrimp. The shrimp is on a woven leader 2.5 feet behind the click ... rattle float. The combined weight gives me a casting distance of 50 crank distances downwind (about 100 feet).
Booyah has a real winner with it's Padcrasher series. Not only are the Padcrashers fish catching machines, but they are also considerably less expensive than the other brands such as Spro. My personal best bass (9lb-15oz.) was caught this spring on a Bullfrog colored Padcrasher. The only two improvements I would suggest are to cut off 1/2 to 1 inch of the legs and open up the gap of the hooks (which are Gamakatsu by the way) to increase the strike to hook up ratio. I have a padcrasher that has ... caught over 75 bass and it is still going strong.
If you are sick of paying over $10 for hollow body frogs, then buy this little baby. It just works. I have it in black and leopard. The hooks are stout and it goes through the junk quite well. Once you get it in a pocket, you can pop and walk it (with the right rod). Leave the expensive popping frogs to the pros.
I've been using this staple of a lure for a lifetime. When I was really young I only threw them for crappie + bass. Now I know you can use 'em for just about every species. slow retrieve for founder and reds. Faster for trout. You won't regret this buy!
I bought these the other day and first cast I had a nice hook up. The action of the tail is the best I've used. Great imitation and colors are amazing.
Great weight and buoyancy for skipping under trees and dock... also works in heavy cover or open water, the action of this bait is amazing and almost effortless
Always great shopping experience everything when I check out.
The lure has great balance and action in still and flowing water. It is versatile and can be fished under a popping cork or just tied to the line. I found the best live shrimp like action was when I just tied it to line with no swivel or leader. The first day I limited out on reds. The largest being 29.5 inches. The second day caught a limit of specs. GREAT LURE !!!!!
Bought on a whim and on first day pulled in 5 specs and a Redfish within 2 hours, an incredible trip for us. Normally we use bait shrimp, these worked far better. After pulling in three fish, the shrimp body began to pull away from the hook and totally separate, but we simply slid the plastic back over and threw it again, and it still caught fish. Just keep using till they're totally broken up!
