I've been fishing over fifty years and this is the hottest soft plastic bait I ever used. Just cast it near cover and slowly retrieve and the strikes come on almost every cast. Catches more 2-4 lb bass than anything I've ever tried
I've recently started bass fishing and went through many different types of bait before finding something that was consistent. The Pit Boss gives you exactly that. Love the action it has. You can have it as a jig bait, swim bait you name it it does it. If you want to catch larger bass constantly, use the Pit Boss
This is my go to craw trailer I use when I throw jigs! Have great action in the water. I've caught some toads with this bait as a trailer.
I gave these a try an instantly started catching more quality bass. They definitely work! They're soft so the bass hang on and don't let go. However, they're so soft they tear up too easily. I can easily go through 10 or more each day, more with bluegill and perch tearing off the claws. Sure wish they sold larger quantity bags. I like the pumpkin seed color, but green fleck seems out of place. Black, red, or orange fleck would be more natural craw-like.
used gulp shrimp on fluke here in Jersey since it came out in the surf using 2 in tanem on dropper loops with bucktail on the bottom of leader DEADLEY 4inch are the best been surf fishing over 50yrs use 6inch swimming mullet on bucktail 1ounce
I saw these shrimp on John Skinner Fishing on youtube and had to try them for myself so I googled gulp shrimp and checked this site out. Today was the first time I tried them out with the same setup John had and it worked wonders. Blue fish were biting right off the bat and same with fluke. I am definitely going to purchase more varieties of these.
I've been using the black or black and blue Grass Pig bait for a little while now, and love it! I've rigged it weightless, weighted, as trailer and my favorite method on swinging jig heads. Its a larger presentation than a standard worm and i can feel the action of the swimbait tail. Nice work! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love this lure, Pearl White and Watermelon Candy is my favorite. You can run them slow a long the bottom in the summertime and it never changes the action of the bait. Caught a lot of big fish on the Grass Pig and it takes a lot to shred these lures they are the longest lasting soft plastic baits I own.
Bobby Garland 2" Baby Shad LOVE THIS BAIT AAAAA+++++
a man gave us this one day on the lake while we were not catching nothing . well he gave us these things in the electric chicken color. we wore them crappie out!!!!!! we also caught some catfish off of them too
This lure is awesome. The bass love it and take it quite readily if they are feeding. The only drawback, is that you had better have several.....they tear up pretty easy. If you get into them like I did, you can go through them. I was lucky to get more than 1 fish with each one. Great lure though.
Whether the bite comes easy or not the crazy legs chigger craw is the bait to have in your arsenal! There's nothing this bait can't do. Only downside I can possibly say about it is that it tears up after about two or three catches
I am in Southeast and fish for all kinds of fish including crappie, white bass, stripped bass, large mouth, etc. My favorite is crappie. I have used all kinds of crappie lures and Bobby Garland 2'' Baby Shad is my go to lure and Academy Sports and Outdoors is my first stop for it. Academy has frequent sales. The subtle action from the tiny tail of this lure works wonders. You can use it for gigging, swimming, shaking under the tiny float and crappie cannot resistant it. When I need a little more ... action and a slightly bigger meal for the crappie, it use this 2'' Slab Slay'R instead. My favorite colors are blue ice, monkey milk. Buy it and you won't be disappointed. It catches everything under the sun: crappie, sun fish, white bass and sometimes even large mouth.
I like using these along with the baby shads for crappie. I rig them on a 1/32 oz jig head under a float and fish the bluffs and tree tops with great success. Favorite color is blue ice.
I have used the original version of these with great success for a long time and these with the longer tails have a lot more action. I wish they came in more colors.
Bought the slabalicious jigs and I'm catching alot more slabs now! Fast shipping and great prices!!!
Can never go wrong chunking a Devil Jerk at these yellow mouth and Rubber lips. They go crazy for their action and slow suspending behavior. Its a must have in any fishermen s tackle box
I bought these because they work ask anybody that fishes for trout
I could not get the hang of bass fishing with plastic worms. Then along came the Zoom line of soft plastics. Now I strictly fish with Zoom lizards and Brush hogs. They practically fish themselves. I don't even use a weight most of the time. I wish they came in packages of twenty, but nine will just have to do.
When I'm targeting some big bass, I usually look to these as they usually pull through for me. Even with the increase in size, they still maintain great action and durability.
Quick ship, waiting for spring to use. Restock tackle nox at Academy each year.
I've been fishing under the lights at south padre island, arroyo city and port mansfield Texas. The simple fact that these lures are small, paddle tail and glow in the dark make them a threat to trout. All I do is cast far, reel high and fast. As soon as the lure hits the light stop and lower the rod tip. The fish get it on the drop. If not, count to three and again reel high and fast. then let it drop again. I use a d shock 6 1/2' spinning combo with 10 lb stren clear blue. Enjoy!
The go to rig for catching Trout and some times Redfish. Great product
I use these baits for all sorts of fishing. I have caught crappie, perch, white bass and largemouth on these baits. Great price for a great product. Will be buying more.
recently purchased along with the pitboss and gulp minnows.they all work great. no more live bait hassles
Worked great at the lake but not so much in a smaller pond. No bites at all in pond. Tore them up at the lake in all colors!
Last year I bought some of these lure to use in small mough fishing. they work great! I use an ultra light 5' rod with 2 lbs test. It's a blast to catch fish one these1
I bought these thinking they wouldn't work, I just put them on my wifes bream buster so I could do some bass fishing uninterrupted. Boy was I wrong!!!! They work as good as live crickets, only difference is she will bait her own hook now,,, I still have to keep taking the fish off for her but it is fun!!!
I bought these to persue huge Red-ear bluegill out in Northern California waters around Sacramento, have not used yet ,. but the gulp minnow product does work for all panfish 1 1/2 in size is what I used in shad colors. the crickets are brim color ?
I have been using the regular sized panfish assasins for a long time with great success. I got these for the extra lenth of tail and figured it would have more subtle motion which it seems to. I wish they would consider more colors but the ones they have work great thus far. I cant wait to use them again. I was able to pull quite a few crappie out during the summer heat.
Use these every time I go crappie fishing in Lake Conroe. Love them!!
These were on sale awhile ago, so I decided to try it out. Used it on a drop shot and had tremendous luck. Even caught a very nice 5 lber; however, if blue gill are in the area, they will tear into these as well.
Very realistic looking bait! Great crawfish imitation!
