Training and Jump Ropes

When you were younger doing double dutch in the backyard you were having fun and didn’t even know you were getting a great workout in. Jumping rope is a great form of cardio. The constant jumping motion causes your calves, hamstring, quads and gluts to fire activating each muscle per jump. Jump ropes are not restricted to working out the lower body, they also involve the upper muscles. The jump rope movement comes from the rotation of the arms. That circular rotation will result in toning of the arms, chest in back the longer you stay jumping. After jumping rope for a decent amount of time you will realize your legs and arms are equally tired.
